Intimate Lap Kiss - Simkatu - FR
If you have ever wanted to add a touch of spontaneous, heart-fluttering romance to your Sims' everyday life, the Intimate Lap Kiss - Simkatu - FR is the perfect addition to your game. This mod, originally created by Simkatu and now fully translated into French by a dedicated fan, brings a beautifully animated and deeply intimate interaction to The Sims 4. It is designed to feel natural, fitting seamlessly into the existing romance system while offering a new layer of connection between your Sim couples.
What Does the Intimate Lap Kiss Mod Do?
This mod introduces a brand-new romantic interaction called the "Intimate Lap Kiss." It is a sweet and passionate moment where one Sim leans in to kiss their partner while they are seated closely together. The animation is smooth and detailed, capturing a genuine sense of closeness that goes beyond a standard peck on the cheek. The interaction is not just a visual treat; it also carries gameplay effects that can enhance your Sims' romantic bond.
Where Can Your Sims Use This Interaction?
The beauty of this mod lies in its versatility. The interaction is available whenever your Sims are sitting close to one another on a variety of furniture and locations. This includes:
- Couches and sofas of all styles.
- Park benches and other outdoor seating.
- Ottomans and footstools.
- Single and double beds, with the exception of murphy (wall) beds.
- The edge of swimming pools, perfect for a summer romance.
This wide range of locations means you can trigger this romantic moment in almost any setting, from a cozy living room to a sunny poolside afternoon.
How to Trigger the Romance
To find the new interaction, navigate to the "Romance" pie menu and then look for the "Physical Intimacy" sub-category. It will be listed alongside other romantic options. However, there is a crucial prerequisite: your Sims must have already shared their very first kiss. This ensures that the interaction feels earned and meaningful, rather than something that happens between strangers. Once that milestone is reached, the option will appear for your Sim couples.
Gameplay Effects and Buffs
The interaction itself lasts for approximately 25 to 30 minutes in game time, allowing for a substantial and immersive romantic moment. When the interaction completes, there is a 40% chance that both Sims will receive a special positive buff. This buff is a lovely reminder of the moment they shared, boosting their mood and reinforcing their connection.
The likelihood of receiving this buff increases significantly under certain conditions. If your Sims have a "Steamy" romantic dynamic, or if they find each other "Attractive" or "Very Attractive" (a feature introduced with the "Lovestruck" expansion pack), the chances of the buff triggering are much higher. This cleverly integrates the mod with the base game's relationship systems, rewarding players who invest in their Sims' romantic lives.
Compatibility and Requirements
Before you download Intimate Lap Kiss - Simkatu - FR, it is important to understand the technical requirements. The mod is built to work with the latest game updates, but it does require the XML Injector to function correctly.
