Group Texting par Thatssojordy - Trad Fr
Socializing in The Sims 4 can feel like a full-time job, especially when your Sim has a sprawling network of friends, coworkers, and distant relatives. Sending a text to each individual Sim just to keep the friendship bar from decaying is tedious, repetitive, and frankly, a waste of precious in-game hours. That is exactly where the Group Texting par Thatssojordy - Trad Fr mod steps in, offering a clever quality-of-life solution that changes how your Sims stay connected.
This article covers everything you need to know about this French translation mod, including its core features, how it works, installation steps, and compatibility notes for various game versions. Whether you are a veteran simmer or a newcomer, you will find this tool indispensable for managing your Sim's social life.
What Does the Group Texting Mod Do?
The original Group Texting mod by Thatssojordy simplifies social interactions by allowing your Sims to send group messages to multiple Sims in a single action. Instead of opening the phone menu and texting each contact one by one, your Sim can now compose one message and blast it out to a whole group. This is a game-changer for maintaining large friend circles without the constant micro-management.
With this mod, your Sims can send a message to up to 8 Sims in one single interaction. Each recipient receives the message, and your Sim's friendship level with each of them increases accordingly. This means you can boost your social standing across the board without spending an entire Sim-day glued to the phone screen. No more contacting every Sim individually.
Key Features at a Glance
- Send a single text to up to 8 different Sims simultaneously.
- Increases friendship levels with every recipient of the group message.
- Reduces repetitive phone interactions, freeing up time for other activities.
- Fully translated into French thanks to the dedicated translation file.
For players who prefer playing in French, the Group Texting par Thatssojordy - Trad Fr is essential. It replaces the default English UI strings with accurate French text, making the mod feel like a native part of the game. This translation is provided by Millie-Store and is designed to work seamlessly alongside the original mod file.
How to Install the Translation File
Installing this translation is straightforward, but there is one crucial step you cannot skip. To use the translation, simply place the translation file in the same folder as the base mod. The translation does not work on its own; it requires the original Group Texting mod to function. If you are wondering how to install it correctly, follow these steps:
- Download the original Group Texting mod by Thatssojordy from its official source.
- Download the Group Texting par Thatssojordy - Trad Fr translation file.
- Navigate to your Sims 4 Mods folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods).
- Place both the original mod package file and the translation file in the same folder.
- Enable "Script Mods" and "Custom Content" in your game settings, then restart the game.
That is all there is to it. Once loaded, the mod will appear in your Sim's phone interactions, and all text will be displayed in French. Remember, the translation file must stay in the same directory as the base mod; otherwise, the game will not recognize the translated strings.
Compatibility and Game Versions
This mod is designed to work with the base game of The Sims 4, and it does not require any specific expansion packs or game packs to function. However, it is always a good idea to check the mod's compatibility with your current game patch. The translation itself is version-agnostic, meaning it will work as long as the base mod is up to date with your game version.
For players who manage multiple mods, compatibility is rarely an issue here. Since this mod only adds a new phone interaction and modifies existing friendship gain logic, it does not conflict with most popular mods like UI cheats, MC Command Center, or custom traits. Still, it is wise to test the mod in a clean save file if you encounter any issues after a major game update.
If you are looking for a hassle-free way to manage your mods, consider using the foxygame.net launcher. This launcher offers a one-click install feature for the Group Texting par Thatssojordy - Trad Fr, ensuring that both the base mod and the translation are placed in the correct folders automatically, saving you from manual file management errors.
Why You Should Download This Mod
Social interactions are the heart of The Sims 4, but they can become a chore when you have a large household or an active Sim with many friends. The group texting feature not only saves time but also makes your Sim appear more sociable and proactive. Instead of ignoring friends until they call you, your Sim can send a quick group check-in and keep everyone happy.
The French translation adds another layer of immersion for francophone players. There is nothing worse than having a great mod that breaks your language immersion because the UI text is in English. With this translation, every button, notification, and interaction tooltip is in clear, natural French. It is a small file that makes a big difference.
Another benefit is the friendship boost mechanic. Each group message increases your Sim's friendship level with all recipients. Over time, this can turn casual acquaintances into best friends without any extra effort. It is a passive way to build a robust social network, which is useful for career promotions, parties, and special events.
For those who want to keep their mods updated effortlessly, the foxygame.net launcher also provides automatic update checks for the Group Texting par Thatssojordy - Trad Fr. This ensures that you always have the latest translation compatible with the newest Sims 4 patches, so you never have to worry about broken mods after an update.
