Gracelyn Duckworth: A Cheerful Horse Lover for Your Sims 4 World
If your Sims 4 save file feels a little short on personality, Gracelyn Duckworth is here to change that. She is a young adult Sim built around three traits that make her instantly memorable: horse lover, cheerful, and bookworm. Whether you are running a sprawling ranch in Chestnut Ridge or a quiet cottage in Henford-on-Bagley, Gracelyn fits right in and brings a warm, upbeat energy to every household she joins.
Who Is Gracelyn Duckworth?
Gracelyn Duckworth is a young adult female Sim created by a fellow member of the Sims community. She arrives with no custom content attached, which means you can download Gracelyn Duckworth without worrying about broken links, missing meshes, or cluttered mod folders. Everything she wears and every feature she has comes straight from official game assets, so she loads cleanly on almost any setup.
Her trait combination tells a clear story. The horse lover trait makes her happiest around equine companions, the cheerful trait keeps her mood lifted even on rough days, and the bookworm trait sends her running to the nearest bookshelf for a good read. Together, these traits make her a fantastic fit for players who enjoy slower, story-driven gameplay with plenty of animals and quiet evenings.
Why Players Love This Sim
There is a lot to appreciate about Gracelyn Duckworth for The Sims 4 players who prefer a clean, ready-to-play character:
- No CC required, so there is nothing extra to hunt down before she appears in your game.
- She works with the base game and blends naturally into households that use expansion packs.
- Her cheerful and bookworm traits suit family gameplay, while horse lover opens up ranch-style stories.
- She is easy to edit, so you can restyle her hair, outfits, or traits to match your own save.

Supported Versions and Mod Compatibility
Which Game Versions Work
Gracelyn Duckworth is designed to work with current and recent versions of The Sims 4. Because she uses only official assets, she does not depend on a specific patch level, and she should continue to function after future updates. If you play on a fully updated game, you are in the best possible position.
Pack and Mod Notes
The original creator owns all packs but did not use every one of them when building this Sim. That is good news for you. If a piece of her outfit or a hairstyle comes from a pack you do not own, the missing item simply will not appear, and you can swap it out with something from your own library. Nothing breaks, and nothing corrupts your save.
As for mods, Gracelyn Duckworth is a standalone Sim file rather than a script mod, so she will not conflict with your existing mod list. She plays nicely alongside trait mods, CAS overhauls, and default replacements, which makes her a safe addition to heavily modded games.
How to Install Gracelyn Duckworth
Installing her takes only a minute. Follow these steps:
- Download the Sim files from the creator's original page or a trusted add-on catalog.
- Extract the archive using any standard zip tool.
- Place all extracted files directly into your Tray folder, found under Documents, Electronic Arts, The Sims 4, Tray.
- Launch The Sims 4 and open your Gallery library to find her under your saved households.
That is the entire process. There is no package folder involved, and no extra configuration is needed. If she does not show up right away, close the game completely and reopen it so the Gallery refreshes.
Final Thoughts
Gracelyn Duckworth is a charming, low-maintenance addition to any Sims 4 save. She brings a cheerful attitude, a love of horses, and a passion for books, all without demanding a single piece of custom content. Whether you drop her into a working ranch or a cozy suburban home, she will settle in quickly and give you plenty of story material to work with. Give her a try and see how she fits into your world.
