Gerardo Marquez: A Stylish Young Adult Male Sim for The Sims 4
If you are looking for a fresh face to shake up your neighborhood, Gerardo Marquez is a young adult male Sim who brings plenty of personality and style to any save file. Built on the Base Game, he works as a flexible canvas for players who enjoy storytelling, legacy challenges, or simply populating their world with memorable characters. Whether you want a new romantic interest for your founder or a best friend for your heir, this Sim fits right in.
Who Is Gerardo Marquez?
Gerardo Marquez is a young adult male Sim designed with a relaxed, modern aesthetic. His aspiration and traits are set to random, which means every time you place him in a household, you get a slightly different personality to work with. This makes him a great pick for players who like surprises or who want to build a backstory around whatever traits the game assigns.
In Create A Sim, he appears with a curated everyday outfit that leans into casual street style. The look combines a leather jacket, oversized jeans, and a pair of sneakers, giving him an effortlessly cool vibe that stands out without feeling overdone. His face features soft, defined details, and his hair is a mid-parting curly style that frames his features nicely.
Required Custom Content for Gerardo Marquez
To make Gerardo Marquez look exactly as intended, you will need to install the custom content listed by the creator. Without these files, the game will replace missing items with default assets, and his appearance will change significantly. The required CC includes:
- Wings Hair TS4 ER0928 (mid-parting curly hair)
- Contour N17 by cosimetic and Luke Face Mask by MagicHand
- Beard Style 23 by serpentrogue
- Male mouth preset N3 by Seleng and Lyon lip by MYOBI
- Eyes N104 and Eyebrows N141 presets
- Blush 07 by RemusSirion

- Sneakers Collection 05 by Jius
Once everything is in place, the Sim loads correctly in Create A Sim and in live mode. If you notice missing textures or default replacements, double-check that each package file is in your Mods folder and that custom content is enabled in your game settings.
Version Compatibility and Mod Support
Gerardo Marquez for The Sims 4 is built for the Base Game, so you do not need any expansion, game, or stuff packs to use him. This makes him accessible to players regardless of which packs they own. The add-on works with the current patch level of The Sims 4 and remains compatible with most recent updates, though major patches can occasionally break custom content. If a new update causes issues, check that your CC files are up to date before troubleshooting further.
Because the Sim relies on custom content rather than script mods, he generally plays well alongside other mods. Keep your Mods folder organized, and avoid duplicate files to reduce the chance of conflicts. Players who use a large CC library should sort items into subfolders so that individual pieces are easy to find and update.
For those who prefer a smoother setup, the foxygame.net launcher offers a convenient way to manage add-ons like Gerardo Marquez, handling installation and updates in a single click so you can spend less time sorting files and more time playing.
How to Install Gerardo Marquez
Installing this Sim is straightforward, even if you are new to custom content. Follow these steps to get him into your game:
- Download Gerardo Marquez from the creator's page and extract the archive.
- Place all package files into your Mods folder, located in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Open The Sims 4, go to Game Options, and enable both custom content and script mods.
- Restart the game so the new files are recognized.
- Find Gerardo Marquez in your Gallery or library and place him in a household.
If the Sim does not appear, confirm that you extracted the files rather than leaving them zipped. The game cannot read compressed archives, so this is a common cause of missing content.
