Functional Toiletries Interactions by FinJingSims - Tradução PTBR
If you have ever decorated a bathroom with tiny bottles, jars, and cleansers only to watch your Sims ignore them completely, this add-on is for you. Functional Toiletries Interactions by FinJingSims - Tradução PTBR turns decorative hygiene products into real, usable objects in The Sims 4. The Portuguese translation of the FinJingSims framework gives Brazilian players full access to a system that makes self-care routines feel far more authentic.
What This Translation Adds to Your Game
The original mod, created by FinJingSims, provides the interaction framework that lets compatible personal care products participate in everyday gameplay. Instead of sitting on a counter as pure decoration, these items become part of your Sim's hygiene routine. The translation simply makes all of that text readable in Portuguese, so nothing gets lost in translation while you play.
Key features include:
- Functional hygiene products that can be used during normal gameplay instead of acting as static clutter.
- More depth for bathroom routines, with personal care activities that complement showers and baths.
- An expandable system designed to support future FinJingSims products as they release.
- Full compatibility with the Base Game, so no expansion packs are strictly required.
Supported Products and How the System Works
Currently Compatible Items
At the moment, the official page lists two integrated products: the Boya Forever Young Anti-Aging Odor Body Cleanser and the Boya Trans Body Cleansing Milk. Both are separate FinJingSims downloads that rely on this interaction framework to function. Keep in mind that the mod itself is only the system, so you need to grab each product individually if you want to use it.
What Stays the Same
This add-on does not replace the original bathing or hygiene system in The Sims 4. Showers, bathtubs, and every vanilla interaction continue to work exactly as before. The goal is expansion, not replacement, which means you can safely add it to an existing save without disrupting your normal playstyle.
If you prefer a smoother setup, the foxygame.net launcher handles Functional Toiletries Interactions by FinJingSims - Tradução PTBR through a single-click install, so you skip the manual folder juggling entirely. Its catalog also flags version compatibility before anything touches your Mods directory.
Requirements and Compatibility
Because this is a translation file, it depends on the original FinJing Functional Toiletries Interactions mod from FinJingSims. The main file is classified as Base Game content, meaning it works across supported The Sims 4 versions without needing extra packs. As with most script or tuning mods, major game patches can occasionally break things, so watch for updates after big patches.
- The original mod is required for the translation to work.
- Compatible hygiene products must be downloaded separately.
- Keep both the translation and the original file updated to avoid conflicts.
- Custom Content and Mods must be enabled in your game settings.
How to Install Functional Toiletries Interactions by FinJingSims - Tradução PTBR
Getting everything running takes only a few minutes. Follow these steps carefully:
- Download the original FinJing Functional Toiletries Interactions mod from the official FinJingSims page on CurseForge.
- Extract the archive if it comes compressed.
- Place the mod files inside your The Sims 4 Mods folder.
- Download the compatible hygiene products you want to use and add them to the same folder.
- Drop the translation file into the Mods folder as well.
- Launch the game and confirm that Custom Content and Mods are enabled.
Remember that this file is only the translation. It will not function on its own, and the hygiene products are not bundled with the interaction framework. Keep the translation alongside the original mod files so everything loads correctly.
Why It Is Worth Adding
Small details are what make a save feel alive. Having products scattered around a bathroom looks nice, but actually using them gives those objects a purpose beyond filling counter space. Since the system is built to grow, new compatible products can slot in over time, turning a single cosmetic into the foundation of a fuller self-care routine. For players who love detailed bathrooms and immersive daily schedules, download Functional Toiletries Interactions by FinJingSims - Tradução PTBR and give your Sims the hygiene routine they deserve.
