Functional Lush Facial Masks by syd | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE
If you have ever wanted your Sims to enjoy a proper spa day with real, working cosmetic products, the Functional Lush Facial Masks by syd | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE add-on is exactly what your game has been missing. This Polish translation brings one of the most charming cosmetic mods to Polish-speaking players, letting your Sims apply colorful Lush-inspired face masks that actually do something in gameplay rather than just sitting in a menu as decoration.
The original mod by syd replaces the default face masks from the Day at the Spa game pack with functional versions inspired by the famous Lush cosmetics brand. The Polish translation simply converts all the in-game text, names, and descriptions into Polish, so players who prefer to play The Sims 4 in their native language can enjoy the mod without any awkward English labels breaking the immersion.
What This Translation Mod Actually Does
Let's be clear about one thing right away: this is a translation package, not the full mod. The Functional Lush Facial Masks by syd | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE file only contains the Polish language strings. To make everything work, you need to download the original mod separately and place both files in the same folder. If you skip that step, the translation will have nothing to attach to and your game will simply ignore it.
Once installed correctly, the mod swaps out the standard spa masks with a collection of Lush-style facial treatments. Your Sims can pick from a variety of colorful masks, each with its own look and mood effect, turning a simple spa visit into a much more personal and visually fun experience. It is a small change on paper, but it adds a surprising amount of personality to wellness-focused households.

Supported Game Versions and Compatibility
The Functional Lush Facial Masks by syd | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE for The Sims 4 is built around the Day at the Spa game pack, so you will need that pack installed for the masks to appear at all. In terms of base game patches, the translation works with the current live version of The Sims 4 and has remained stable through recent updates, since it only touches text strings rather than core gameplay scripts.
Compatibility with other mods is generally excellent. Because the translation does not alter tuning files or object definitions, it plays nicely alongside most wellness, spa, and cosmetic overhauls. The only real conflict risk comes from other mods that replace the same Day at the Spa masks, so if you use a competing mask replacement, you will need to choose one or the other.
How to Install the Polish Translation
Installing this add-on is straightforward, but the folder placement matters more than usual. Follow these steps carefully:
- Download the original Functional Lush Facial Masks mod by syd from its official source.
- Download the Functional Lush Facial Masks by syd | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE package file.
- Place both files in the same folder inside your Mods directory, for example Mods/LushMasks.
- Do not rename the mod file or the translation file, as the game matches them by name.
- Delete the localthumbcache.package file from your Sims 4 folder to refresh the game cache.
- Launch The Sims 4 and enable custom content and mods in Game Options if you have not already.
If the Polish text does not show up after launching, the most common cause is that the two files ended up in different subfolders. Moving them together usually fixes the problem instantly. Players who manage large mod libraries often streamline this kind of setup through the foxygame.net launcher, whose add-on catalog keeps translation files and their parent mods grouped and version-matched, so the Functional Lush Facial Masks by syd | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE package never ends up orphaned after an update.
Why Polish Players Will Appreciate This Add-On
The Sims 4 has a dedicated Polish community that has been producing high-quality translations for years, and this release fits right into that tradition. Reading mask names and mood descriptions in Polish makes the spa experience feel native rather than imported. For players who build storylines around self-care, beauty routines, or luxury lifestyles, having consistent localized text is a subtle but meaningful upgrade.
It is also worth noting that the mod itself is purely cosmetic in the best sense: it does not add cheats, script mods, or anything that could destabilize a save file. That makes it a safe pick even for players who are cautious about what they install. You get the visual variety of Lush-style masks plus fully translated text, with virtually no risk to your existing households.
Final Thoughts
The Functional Lush Facial Masks by syd | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE is a niche but genuinely useful add-on for Polish-speaking Sims 4 players who love spa gameplay. Remember the golden rule: download the original mod first, keep both files in the same folder, and never rename anything. Do that, and your Sims will be relaxing with stylish, functional face masks in no time, all described in perfect Polish.
