What Does This Mod Add to Your Game?
This isn't just a decorative kettle. The ☕🍵 Functional Electric Kettle and 24 Drinks by Somik & Severinka — Spanish Translation ES 🍵☕ introduces a complete beverage system that integrates seamlessly with your Sims' daily routines. Your Sims can now boil water and prepare drinks that boost their mood, warm them up on cold days, and add a touch of realism to your kitchen scenes.
Complete List of Drinks
The mod includes 24 distinct beverages, all available through the kettle's interaction menu. Here is the full breakdown:
- 13 types of tea and water — from classic black tea to herbal infusions and plain hot water.
- 7 types of coffee — espresso, americano, latte, and more for your caffeine-loving Sims.
- 3 types of hot chocolate — including a rich dark version and a creamy milk option.
These drinks are not only accessible from the kettle menu at home. You can also find them available in in-game restaurants, meaning your Sims can order a steaming cup of tea while dining out. This adds a new layer of depth to restaurant visits and makes the world feel more alive.
Requirements and Compatibility
Before you download ☕🍵 Functional Electric Kettle and 24 Drinks by Somik & Severinka — Spanish Translation ES 🍵☕, you need to be aware of the required dependencies. This mod relies on the Creators' Cookbook, which is also available in Spanish through the same translator. You will also need the XML Injector, which is essential for the custom menus to appear correctly in your game. Without it, the kettle will not function as intended.
For an enhanced experience, the SCCO (Srsly's Complete Cooking Overhaul) is optional but highly recommended. It expands the cooking system and works beautifully with this kettle mod. Similarly, the "Realistic Kitchen" Delivery Mod is optional but adds the ability to order these drinks from restaurants for delivery. Both of these mods also have Spanish translations available from the same creator, Laura, ensuring a fully localized experience.
Supported Game Versions
This mod is designed to work with the latest versions of The Sims 4, including the base game and all recent expansion packs. Since it uses the XML Injector, it remains compatible with most game updates. However, always check that your XML Injector is up to date after a game patch. The mod is tested and confirmed to work with the standard PC and Mac versions of The Sims 4.
How to Install the Mod
Installing this translation is straightforward, but there is a crucial step many players miss. This file is only the Spanish translation. You must also download the original mod from the creators, Somik & Severinka, for the kettle to work. Here is the step-by-step process:
- Download the original "Functional Electric Kettle and 24 Drinks" mod from CurseForge.
- Download the ☕🍵 Functional Electric Kettle and 24 Drinks by Somik & Severinka — Spanish Translation ES 🍵☕ file from this page.
- Place both files into your Mods folder, located in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Ensure you have the XML Injector installed and placed in the same Mods folder.
- Launch the game and enable mods in your Game Options if you haven't already.
After following these steps, the kettle will appear in your build/buy catalog, and all interactions will be displayed in Spanish. If you are using the foxygame.net launcher, you can streamline this entire process. The launcher offers a one-click install feature for mods, including the ☕🍵 Functional Electric Kettle and 24 Drinks by Somik & Severinka — Spanish Translation ES 🍵☕, which automatically places files in the correct folder and checks version compatibility before you even start the game. This saves time and reduces the risk of installation errors, especially for players who are new to modding.
