Required Mods and Compatibility
Before you download Fettucine Alfredo with Cheesy Garlic Bread Custom Recipe, ensure you have the most recent version of the My Grocery Shopping List mod installed. This is a mandatory dependency. The creator emphasizes that you must always delete the previous version of that mod before updating to the latest one. Failure to do so can cause conflicts or prevent the recipe from appearing.
As for game versions, this recipe works with the base game of The Sims 4 and does not require any specific expansion packs. However, it is tested against the latest game patches. If you use the optional Custom Ingredients from Insimnia, make sure those files are also up to date. The recipe itself is a single PACKAGE file, making it lightweight and easy to manage alongside other mods.

Installing this add-on is refreshingly simple. Follow these steps to get cooking:
- Download the recipe PACKAGE file from the mod page.
- Locate your Sims 4 Mods folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods).
- Drag and drop the PACKAGE file directly into that folder.
- Launch the game and enable custom content in your game options if prompted.

Using Custom Ingredients (Optional)
If you decide to incorporate Insimnia’s Custom Ingredients, the experience becomes more immersive. Here is the proper workflow:
- Install the custom ingredients file alongside the recipe.
- Click on the Grocery List to check which ingredients are needed.
- If an ingredient requires “opening,” click that option first.
- Place all required ingredients in your Sim’s inventory or the fridge.
- If the recipe is grayed out, you are missing an item.
- Once everything is gathered, the recipe unlocks and your Sim can cook.
