Who is Donna Egan?
Donna Egan is a Base Game Compatible Young Adult Female Sim. She comes with a specific Everyday Dress outfit, making her ready to hit the town or lounge in style right out of the box. Her look is defined by a curated selection of custom content (CC) that gives her a distinct, polished appearance. From her intricate hairstyle to her designer-inspired wardrobe, every detail has been chosen to create a cohesive and fashionable character.
This Sim is perfect for players who enjoy the fashion aspect of The Sims 4 and want a Sim who looks like she stepped off a runway. The combination of her facial features and clothing creates a memorable presence in any save file.
Required Custom Content and Compatibility
To ensure Donna Egan looks exactly as intended, you will need to download and install a specific list of custom content. The creator has provided a detailed list of required CC, which includes everything from skin blends and presets to clothing and accessories. Key items include the Caroll91 Lip Preset, various Northern Siberia Winds presets for eyes, nose, and ears, and specific clothing pieces like the Jil Sander Dress and Rick Owens-inspired items.
It is important to note that while the Sim is Base Game Compatible, the CC is essential for the correct appearance. Without these files, Donna Egan may appear with missing textures or default features. Most of these CC items are widely available on popular Sims 4 modding sites. When preparing to download Donna Egan, make sure you gather all the listed files to avoid any visual glitches.
Regarding version compatibility, Donna Egan is designed to work with the latest patch of The Sims 4. As with most custom content, keeping your game updated ensures that the CC functions correctly. If you use a mod manager or a launcher like the one at foxygame.net, you can streamline the process of keeping Donna Egan and her associated CC up to date, as the platform's catalog often includes version checks for popular add-ons.
How to Install Donna Egan
Installing Donna Egan is a straightforward process, but it requires a bit of organization due to the number of CC files involved. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install this Sim and her content:
- Download all the required custom content files listed by the creator. This includes the skinblends, presets, makeup, and clothing items.
- Extract the downloaded files using a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip if they are compressed.
- Locate your Sims 4 Mods folder. This is typically found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Create a new folder inside the Mods folder and name it "Donna Egan" to keep her files organized.
- Place all the .package files for the CC into this new folder.
- Download the Donna Egan Sim file (usually a .tray file or a .package file depending on the creator's method) and place it in the Tray folder, which is located in the same Sims 4 directory as the Mods folder.
- Launch The Sims 4 and enable custom content and mods in the Game Options menu.
- Go to your Gallery or Library in-game to find Donna Egan and place her in your world.
Once installed, you can find Donna Egan in your gallery. If she does not appear immediately, try restarting the game. Remember that if you are using a launcher such as foxygame.net, you might find that it simplifies the management of these CC dependencies, allowing you to focus on playing rather than troubleshooting file paths.
Why Add Donna Egan to Your Game?
Donna Egan brings a specific style to The Sims 4 that is hard to replicate with base game assets alone. Her look is modern, edgy, and chic. The use of high-quality CC like the Butterfly Opal Earrings and the GlitterberrySims exclusive items ensures she stands out in a crowd. For players who love storytelling, she can be a fashion influencer, a socialite, or a mysterious newcomer with impeccable taste.
Furthermore, using custom Sims like Donna Egan can inspire new gameplay. You might build a storyline around her career in fashion or her social life in Del Sol Valley. The attention to detail in her creation, from the eyeliner to the ankle boots, makes her a joy to play with.

Donna Egan is a fantastic addition to any Sims 4 save file for players who appreciate high-quality custom content and fashion-forward design.
