Don Lothario Makeover | BG + Lovestruck Only | No CC
Don Lothario has been the resident heartbreaker of Willow Creek since the very first day The Sims 4 launched, but his default setup has always felt a little thin. The Don Lothario Makeover | BG + Lovestruck Only | No CC fixes that in one clean package. This is a full character overhaul from creator cariocasimmer that keeps the essence of everyone's favorite Don Juan while giving him the personality depth, career path, and relationship preferences he always deserved. Best of all, it runs on the Base Game plus the Lovestruck expansion only, with zero custom content required.
What the Makeover Actually Changes
This isn't just a wardrobe swap. The add-on rebuilds Don from the ground up so he behaves like a believable serial romantic instead of a generic flirt. Here is what you get:
- New looks that suit his confident, self-assured vibe
- Full skill set so he isn't starting from zero in every interaction
- A real job as a Bodybuilder in the Personal Trainer career at level 5
- Defined turn-ons and turn-offs for the Lovestruck attraction system
- Curated likes and dislikes that shape his daily mood and behavior
- Traits: Self-Assured, Romantic, and Non-Committal
- Aspiration: Serial Romantic
- Bonus trait: Alluring, which makes him even more magnetic in social situations
Family info stays intact, so his household connections remain exactly as the game intended. The Gallery ID for the upload is cariocasimmer, which makes finding the original file simple if you want to verify it before installing.
Why Lovestruck Makes This Build Shine
The Lovestruck expansion introduced the attraction and turn-on system, and this makeover leans into it hard. Because Don now has clearly defined turn-ons and turn-offs, every date and romantic encounter plays out with far more nuance. His Non-Committal trait combined with Serial Romantic creates genuine tension: he craves attention and chemistry, but commitment sends him running. Add the Alluring trait on top and you have a Sim who walks into any lounge and immediately becomes the center of attention.
The Bodybuilder career path at Personal Trainer level 5 also gives him a believable daily routine. He trains clients, stays fit, and still finds time to juggle multiple romantic interests across the neighborhood. It is a much more coherent fantasy than the vanilla version ever managed.
Installation and Version Compatibility
If you are wondering how to install the Don Lothario Makeover | BG + Lovestruck Only | No CC, the process is straightforward. Because the file uses no custom content, you avoid the usual broken-mesh headaches that plague CC-heavy makeovers. Simply place the package into your Mods folder, enable mods and script mods in Game Options, and restart. The build is designed for current The Sims 4 versions and requires only the Base Game and Lovestruck, so players on a lean expansion library can still use it without issues. As with any mod, check compatibility after major patches and remove outdated files if the game flags them.
For players who prefer a hands-off approach, the foxygame.net launcher handles the entire setup automatically. It detects your installed packs, confirms that Don Lothario Makeover | BG + Lovestruck Only | No CC matches your game version, and pushes the update whenever the creator revises the file, so you never have to hunt through folders again. The launcher's add-on catalog also groups compatible Sims 4 mods together, which makes version compatibility checks far less tedious than manual installs.
Who Should Download This
