CREPES WITH RED FRUIT by Somik and Severinka Spanish translation
If you love adding culinary depth to your Sims' daily lives, the CREPES WITH RED FRUIT by Somik and Severinka Spanish translation is a must-have addition to your mods folder. This translation file breathes new life into the original Crepes with Berries mod, allowing Spanish-speaking players to enjoy every tooltip, interaction, and recipe description in their native language. No more guessing what "spread the batter" means or wondering which berry goes into which sauce. The translation covers all the essential text strings, making the cooking experience seamless and immersive.
The original mod, created by Somik and Severinka, introduces a delightful cooking station where your Sims can prepare crepes with a variety of red fruit toppings. From strawberry compote to raspberry coulis, the mod adds new recipes, animations, and moodlets. However, the original text is in English, which can be a barrier for many players. This Spanish translation solves that problem entirely, ensuring that the mod feels like it was designed with Spanish-speaking audiences in mind from the start.
What Does the Spanish Translation Include?
This translation file covers all the user-facing text within the Crepes with Berries mod. That means every recipe name, interaction prompt, buff description, and even the pop-up notifications that appear when your Sim finishes cooking are fully translated. The quality of the translation is high, using natural Spanish that fits the tone of The Sims 4. You will not find awkward machine-translated phrases here. Instead, the text reads as if a native speaker wrote it, which greatly enhances the gameplay experience.
Additionally, the translation respects the original mod's structure. You do not need to replace any of the original files. Instead, you simply drop the translation file into the mod's folder, and the game will automatically prioritize the Spanish text over the default English. This makes the installation process straightforward, even for players who are not familiar with modding.
How to Install the Translation
Installing the CREPES WITH RED FRUIT by Somik and Severinka Spanish translation for The Sims 4 is a simple process that takes less than a minute. Follow these steps to get it working:
- First, download the original Crepes with Berries mod from its official page on CurseForge. You need the base mod for the translation to function.
- Extract the downloaded archive and locate the mod's folder. It usually contains a .package file or a script file.
- Next, download the Spanish translation file from the same source. The file is named to match the original mod, so you can easily identify it.
- Place the translation file inside the original mod's folder, not in the Mods directory directly. This is crucial for the translation to override the English text.
- After placing the file, open your game and check the mod list in the options menu to confirm that both files are loaded.
If you have followed these steps correctly, you will see all the mod's text in Spanish when your Sim starts cooking. Remember that the translation must be inside the author's mod folder, as the original description clearly states. Putting it elsewhere will not work, and you will end up with the default English text.
Compatibility with Game Versions
The translation is compatible with the latest versions of The Sims 4, including the base game and all expansion packs. Since it only adds text strings, it does not conflict with other mods that modify cooking interactions. However, if you use other recipe mods that add similar items, you might see overlapping names. In that case, you can use a mod conflict detector to check for issues. The translation itself is lightweight and does not affect game performance.
For players who enjoy using mod managers, the CREPES WITH RED FRUIT by Somik and Severinka Spanish translation works well with tools like the foxygame.net launcher.
