π»π§ Computer Scientist Career (No Promotion) β By kiarasims4mods β Spanish Translation ES
If you play The Sims 4 in Spanish and you love tech-themed storytelling, this translation is going to feel like a gift. The π»π§ Computer Scientist Career (No Promotion) β By kiarasims4mods β Spanish Translation ES brings a full Spanish localization to one of the most interesting custom careers available for the game, letting your Sims build a stable, technical life without ever chasing a promotion.
The Spanish translation was created by Laura, a dedicated translator who supports Spanish-speaking Simmers. Her goal is simple: make sure that quality custom content is accessible to players who prefer to experience The Sims 4 entirely in their own language. This file contains only the translation, so the original mod is still required for everything to work correctly.
What This Career Adds to Your Game
Unlike most careers in The Sims 4, this one is intentionally designed without promotions. Your Sim stays at the same level forever, which makes it perfect for players who want a calm, consistent routine instead of a constant climb up the corporate ladder. There are no new ranks, no pressure to perform, and no branching paths to worry about.
Instead, your Sim focuses on genuine computer science work. Daily tasks revolve around database maintenance, system analysis, and software updates. Many of these tasks can be completed from home, which fits perfectly with a freelance or remote-work style of gameplay. A logical skill requirement keeps the career grounded in the tech theme.
Key Features
- Daily duties such as database updates and software maintenance
- Work-from-home computer science research tasks
- Logic skill requirement for authentic tech progression
- Stable career path with no promotions or new levels
- Special task: "Update tech base" from the work interactions menu
Requirements and Compatibility
Before installing, make sure your setup meets the basic requirements. You need The Sims 4 Base Game, the XML Injector, and the pie menu mod for work interactions. These are the same requirements as the original mod, since the translation simply replaces the text strings with Spanish versions.
This translation is compatible with current versions of The Sims 4 and works alongside the original career mod. As long as you keep both files updated, you should not run into conflicts. If you use a mod manager or a launcher such as foxygame.net, you can add the π»π§ Computer Scientist Career (No Promotion) β By kiarasims4mods β Spanish Translation ES to your library and let the launcher handle version checks and automatic updates for you. That kind of one-click convenience saves a lot of time when you maintain a large mods folder.
How to Install
Learning how to install this translation is straightforward, even if you are new to modding. Follow these steps carefully:
- Download the original Computer and Information Research Scientist Career mod first.
- Download the Spanish translation file for the career.
- Place both files in your Mods folder.
- Delete the localthumbcache.package file from your Sims 4 folder.
- Enable custom content and script mods in your game options.
- Restart the game and select the career from your Sim's phone or computer.
Remember that this file is a Spanish translation only. Without the original mod, it will not function at all, so always keep both packages together in your Mods directory.
Why Spanish Players Will Love It
Playing The Sims 4 in your native language makes every interaction feel more natural, and career text is no exception. Job titles, task descriptions, and notifications all read better when they are properly localized. This translation covers the entire career, so you will not encounter awkward English leftovers in the middle of your gameplay.
