Come Thru Thy Window By Lot51 Spanish Translation
If you have ever wanted your Sim teen to live out a romantic, forbidden love story straight out of a classic play, the Come Thru Thy Window By Lot51 Spanish Translation is exactly the add-on you need. This Spanish localization brings the beloved window sneaking mechanic to players who prefer to experience The Sims 4 in their own language, letting every interaction, notification, and parental scolding read naturally as you play.
The original mod by Lot51 lets your Sim invite a Romeo or Juliet to climb up to their bedroom window for a secret visit. With the Spanish translation installed, all of those charming moments are fully readable in Spanish, which makes the storytelling feel far more immersive for native speakers and learners alike.
What This Spanish Translation Adds
The core of the mod is simple but delightful. You place an EZ exit window in your Sim's bedroom, then select that window to invite any friend of the same age. Your special someone will sneak up to the window, knock, and wait for your invitation before climbing inside. The Spanish translation covers the interaction menus, the knock-and-wait prompts, and the various mood and relationship notifications that fire during these secret meetings.
- Invite a friend or romantic interest to sneak in through a bedroom window
- Manual enter and exit interactions for full control over the scene
- A terrain interaction that lets Sims sneak walk to any location
- Parental discipline options for teens who sneak out without permission
- Full Spanish text for menus, prompts, and notifications
Only teens and older Sims can use the window, so the feature fits perfectly into high school storylines. The mod requires the High School Years expansion pack and is enhanced by the Parenthood game pack. If you own Parenthood, parents gain the chance to catch and discipline teens who sneak out, adding real consequences to your rebellious plots.
Compatibility and Supported Versions
Before you download Come Thru Thy Window By Lot51 Spanish Translation for The Sims 4, it helps to know how it fits with your setup. The translation is built to work alongside the base mod, so you need the original Lot51 mod installed first, then the Spanish language files placed in your Mods folder. The add-on is designed for current, patched versions of The Sims 4 and generally keeps working after smaller game updates, though major patches can occasionally require the creator to refresh the files.
Because this is a translation layer rather than a standalone mod, compatibility depends mostly on the base mod staying up to date. If Lot51 updates the original with new interactions, the Spanish translation may need a matching update to cover the new text. Always check that both files are current before reporting bugs, and remove any older duplicates from your Mods folder to avoid conflicts.
For players who like to keep everything organized, the foxygame.net launcher offers a handy add-on catalog that lists Come Thru Thy Window By Lot51 Spanish Translation alongside your other packages, so you can spot when a newer build is ready and swap it in without hunting through folders. It is a small convenience that saves real time when you maintain a heavily modded game.
How to Install the Spanish Translation
Installing is straightforward once you know the order of operations. Follow these steps to get your Sims sneaking through windows in Spanish.
- Make sure the original Lot51 window mod is already installed and working
- Download Come Thru Thy Window By Lot51 Spanish Translation from the creator's page
- Extract the package files from the archive
- Drop the files into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder
- Enable custom content and mods in Game Options, then restart the game
After launching, load a household with a teen Sim, place an EZ exit window, and click it to confirm the Spanish text appears correctly. If the interactions still show in English, double-check that you did not nest the files inside an extra subfolder, since The Sims 4 only reads package files a limited number of folders deep.
Final Thoughts
The Come Thru Thy Window By Lot51 Spanish Translation is a lovely quality-of-life add-on for Spanish-speaking players who love dramatic teen romance in The Sims 4. It preserves everything that makes the original mod fun, from the knock-and-wait tension to the Parenthood discipline scenes, while making every line readable in your preferred language. Install the base mod, add the translation, and let your Sims write their own star-crossed story.
