Colleen Oswald for The Sims 4: A Custom Sim Add-On
If you are looking to bring a fresh, distinct personality into your game, the Colleen Oswald add-on for The Sims 4 is a fantastic choice. This custom content (CC) Sim is designed for players who want a detailed, aesthetically pleasing character without spending hours in Create A Sim. Whether you are building a new household or populating an existing neighborhood, Colleen brings a unique look and feel to your gameplay.
Who Is Colleen Oswald?
Colleen Oswald is a Young Adult Female Sim created as a standalone add-on. She is designed to be a versatile character, making her suitable for a variety of storylines. One of the standout features of this Sim is her setup:
- Base Game Only: You do not need to own any expansion packs, game packs, or stuff packs to use her. This makes her accessible to every player, regardless of their The Sims 4 version.
- Random Traits: Colleen comes with random traits assigned. This adds an element of surprise to your gameplay, as her personality will be unique every time you place her in a new save file.
- Everyday Outfit Only: To keep the installation simple, she is dressed only in an everyday outfit. This gives you the freedom to customize her wardrobe for other categories later.
Required Custom Content and Mod Compatibility
To ensure Colleen Oswald looks exactly as intended, you must download and install the custom content listed by the creator before adding her to your game. If you skip this step, she will appear with default skin, eyes, hair, and makeup, which will not match the promotional pictures.
The required CC includes specific lighting overlays, non-default eye colors, eye presets, makeup sets, eyelashes, eyeliners, blush, eyebrows, a nose preset, a mouth scale slider, and a specific hairstyle. You will also need the "Decode" outfit and a "Mr & Mrs" preset. All of these items are essential for the complete look.
Regarding mod compatibility, it is crucial to ensure that all the CC you download is updated for the latest patch of The Sims 4. Most of these items are hosted on CurseForge or Patreon, which are generally reliable sources for up-to-date content. Always check the comments or the creator's page for any known conflicts with other major mods.
