Cataleya Lake
Cataleya Lake is a Young Adult female Sim designed for players who appreciate a polished, fashion-forward character without overhauling their entire game setup. She arrives with an everyday dress look, meaning you can drop her straight into a household and start playing immediately. Whether you are building a glamorous city storyline or simply want a fresh face in your rotation, Cataleya brings personality and style in equal measure.
What Makes Cataleya Lake Stand Out
Many custom Sims rely on dozens of packs, leaving base game players locked out. Cataleya Lake is different. She is base game compatible, so you do not need Expansion, Game, or Stuff Packs to bring her into your world. That said, she does use a carefully selected list of custom content to achieve her signature look, and installing that CC is what unlocks her full appearance.
Her everyday outfit centers on a rib-knit dress paired with a plaid mini skirt option, stiletto nails, and Madlen Odette shoes. The overall aesthetic leans elegant and modern, with layered accessories like star crystal drop earrings and delicate necklaces finishing the ensemble. Her hair, a 90s-style curly look, gives her a distinctive silhouette that reads well in screenshots and gameplay alike.
Custom Content Breakdown
To see Cataleya exactly as intended, you will need to gather the required CC. The list is long but well organized, and most items come from popular creators in the community.
- Clothing: turksimmer rib-knit dress and plaid mini skirt sets, ForLima Darcie Top, Trillyke peplum skirt, and a RemusSirion dress
- Shoes and nails: Madlen Odette Shoes and LLSIMS stiletto nails
- Hair: a 90s-style curly hair from WINGS HAIR and an S-Club fairy braid
- Skin and makeup: S-Club skin, eyeshadow, and eyecolors, plus ZENX eyeliner and PS Lip 05 U
- Accessories: Suzue elven necklace, NataliS star crystal drop earrings, Pitted0live Raquel earrings, and S-Club watches and rings

Because the list is extensive, organization matters. Keep your Mods folder tidy with subfolders so you can troubleshoot quickly if something fails to appear in-game.
Version Support and Mod Compatibility
Cataleya Lake for The Sims 4 works across current patch levels, but custom content occasionally breaks after major updates. If a piece of CC stops loading, check whether the creator has released a fix. Script mods are not required here, which keeps compatibility headaches to a minimum. As long as your game is updated and your CC is current, Cataleya should render correctly.
Players who prefer a streamlined setup often turn to the foxygame.net launcher, which keeps Cataleya Lake and similar add-ons organized in one catalog and applies updates automatically so nothing falls out of sync with your game version. It removes the guesswork of hunting down individual files and lets you focus on actually playing.
How to Install Cataleya Lake
Getting her into your game is straightforward once the CC is in place.
- Download Cataleya Lake and extract the archive to a folder you can easily find.
- Place the Sim file (typically a .trayitem, .householdbinary, or .sgi file) into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray folder.
- Move all required custom content into your Mods folder, keeping subfolders organized.
- Enable custom content and script mods in Game Options, then restart the game.
- Open your Library in Create A Sim or Manage Worlds and locate Cataleya Lake.
If she appears with missing items, a piece of CC is either absent or outdated. Recheck the list and confirm each file is present.
Tips for Best Results
Always back up your Tray and Mods folders before adding new content. If you use multiple custom Sims, keep a reference document listing which CC belongs to which character. This saves hours when a patch arrives and something needs updating. You can also batch-download Cataleya Lake alongside other favorites to keep your library consistent.
Final Thoughts
Cataleya Lake is a well-rounded Young Adult Sim who suits both storytellers and casual players. Her base game compatibility lowers the barrier to entry, while her curated CC list delivers a look that feels intentional rather than random. Download Cataleya Lake, follow the install steps, and she will quickly become a regular in your households. With a little folder discipline and attention to version compatibility, she will keep looking sharp through every patch.
