Candace Tongol: A Fashionable Young Adult Sim for Your Neighborhood
If you are looking to refresh your Sims 4 game with a distinctive, stylish character, the Candace Tongol add-on is an excellent choice. This custom Sim brings a polished everyday aesthetic to your game, giving you a ready-made young adult female who fits seamlessly into any storyline. Whether you are building a new household or adding diversity to an existing one, Candace Tongol offers a unique look that stands out without requiring extensive setup.
Who Is Candace Tongol?
Candace Tongol is a young adult female Sim designed primarily for everyday wear. She comes with a curated wardrobe that leans into casual chic, making her perfect for players who want a Sim that looks put together from the moment she wakes up. The add-on focuses on a single outfit category, so you get a highly detailed, fashion-forward look rather than a broad but shallow set of options. This makes her ideal for rotational play, storytelling, or simply populating your world with interesting characters.
Because she is base game compatible, you do not need to own every expansion pack to enjoy her. That said, her full appearance relies on a specific set of custom content (CC), which is listed in the original description. From hairstyles and skin overlays to shoes and accessories, each piece contributes to her signature style.
What Is Included with Candace Tongol?
The add-on includes the Sim herself along with a required CC list that covers everything from nails and eyelashes to dresses and rings. Some of the notable items include the Wisteria Trixie Nails, the turksimmer Dress C366, Bobur Bracelet 07, and a range of S-Club creations such as rings, eyecolors, and skin details. There are also shoes from Madlen and ReMaron, plus lipstick and eyeshadow from KikuruAcchi. The result is a cohesive look that feels both trendy and timeless.
To get the exact appearance shown in previews, you will need to install all the listed CC. Missing even one item can change her look, so it is worth taking the time to gather everything before adding her to your game.
How to Install Candace Tongol in The Sims 4
Installing Candace Tongol is straightforward, but it does require a few steps. First, download Candace Tongol from a trusted source. Next, make sure you have all the required custom content files. Then, follow these steps:
- Locate your Sims 4 Mods folder, typically found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Extract any .zip or .rar files you downloaded for the CC and the Sim.
- Place all .package files directly into the Mods folder. You can create a subfolder named "Candace Tongol" to keep things organized.
- Launch The Sims 4 and enable custom content and mods in Game Options > Other.
- Restart the game if prompted, then find Candace in your Gallery or in Create A Sim under the custom content filter.
If you prefer a simpler route, the foxygame.net launcher offers a one-click install option that automatically places Candace Tongol and her required CC into the correct folders. This can save you the hassle of manually tracking down each file and ensures version compatibility with your current game patch.
Compatibility and Version Support
Candace Tongol for The Sims 4 is designed to work with the base game, meaning you do not need any expansion packs for her to function. However, because she relies on custom content, her appearance depends on those CC files being compatible with your game version. Most of the listed CC is updated regularly by their creators, but it is always a good idea to check for the latest versions, especially after a major patch.
The add-on itself is generally compatible with recent Sims 4 versions, including those up to the latest patch at the time of writing. If you use a mod manager or launcher, it can help you keep track of updates and avoid conflicts with other CC. Always test your game after installing new content to ensure everything loads correctly.
Why Add Candace Tongol to Your Game?
Adding Candace Tongol gives you a ready-made Sim with a strong sense of style. She is perfect for players who enjoy fashion-focused gameplay, storytelling, or simply want a fresh face in their neighborhoods. Her everyday dress-only design means she is not overloaded with outfits, keeping her file size manageable and her look consistent. Plus, with the right CC, she can easily be adapted to different seasons or occasions by swapping a few items.
Whether you are a seasoned CC collector or new to custom content, Candace Tongol is a worthwhile addition. Just remember to download all required CC and follow the installation steps carefully. With a little effort, you will have a stylish new resident ready to take on whatever your Sims 4 world throws at her.
