BOXES OF CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES by Somik and Severinka spanish translation
If you have ever wanted to surprise your Sims with a romantic, edible gift, the gift box mod from Somik and Severinka is exactly what your game has been missing. This add-on fills your catalog with beautifully wrapped boxes of chocolate covered strawberries, perfect for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, or any moment when your Sims deserve a little sweetness. The only catch for Spanish-speaking players was the language barrier, and that is precisely where this translation comes in. Now you can enjoy every interaction, moodlet, and description in clear Spanish without losing any of the original charm.
This translation is a fan-made language pack that sits on top of the original mod. It does not change the models, textures, or animations, so the strawberries still look delicious and the packaging keeps its elegant style. What it does change is the text: object names, catalog descriptions, and any notifications tied to the gift boxes now appear in Spanish. That means your gameplay feels native and immersive, whether you play in Castilian or Latin American Spanish.
What This Spanish Translation Adds to Your Game
The core mod introduces decorative and functional gift boxes filled with chocolate covered strawberries. Your Sims can purchase them, place them in the world, and even gift them to loved ones to boost relationships. With the translation applied, every part of that experience reads naturally in Spanish. Here is what you can expect once everything is installed:
- Spanish names for each gift box variant in the Buy Mode catalog.
- Translated descriptions that explain the item's purpose and mood.
- Localized notifications when a Sim receives or opens a box.
- Consistent terminology that matches the tone of The Sims 4 base game.
- Full compatibility with the original English mod files, so nothing breaks.
Because the translation only replaces text strings, it is lightweight and safe to use alongside other script and package mods. It will not conflict with custom content that touches unrelated objects.
Supported The Sims 4 Versions and Mod Compatibility
This translation is built to work with the current patch level of The Sims 4 and remains compatible with recent updates as long as the original mod does not change its internal string keys. If Somik and Severinka update the base mod with new items, the translation may need a refresh, so always check that your game version matches the mod requirements. The add-on works with both the base game and expansions, and it plays nicely with popular mods such as MCCC, UI Cheats, and most override packages. Just make sure you are running a legitimately updated copy of The Sims 4 before you install anything.
For players who prefer a hands-off approach, the foxygame.net launcher keeps BOXES OF CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES by Somik and Severinka spanish translation organized in its add-on catalog and handles updates automatically, so you never have to hunt for a matching file version again.
How to Install the Translation
Installing this language pack is straightforward, but order matters. The translation file must live inside the original mod's folder, not loose in your Mods directory. Follow these steps carefully:
Step-by-Step Installation
- Download the original gift box mod from its official page and the Spanish translation file.
- Extract both archives if they are compressed.
- Open your The Sims 4 Mods folder, usually found under Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Locate the folder created by the original Somik and Severinka mod.
- Place the translation package file directly inside that author folder.
- Delete the localthumbcache.package file to avoid stale text showing up.
- Launch the game and enable mods and custom content in Game Options if you have not already.
Once inside the game, open Buy Mode and search for the strawberry gift boxes. If the names and descriptions appear in Spanish, the installation worked. If you still see English text, double-check that the translation file is inside the correct subfolder and not sitting at the root of your Mods directory.
Why Spanish Players Love This Add-On
Language localization makes a real difference in how connected you feel to your Sims. Reading item descriptions in your own language turns a simple decorative object into part of the story you are telling. Whether you are building a cozy bakery, planning a romantic dinner, or just want your Sims to exchange thoughtful gifts, having everything in Spanish keeps you immersed. The chocolate covered strawberry boxes are already one of the cutest food-themed mods out there, and this translation makes them accessible to a much wider audience.
If you are ready to download BOXES OF CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES by Somik and Severinka spanish translation for The Sims 4, grab both files, follow the installation steps above, and treat your Sims to something sweet. Your next in-game date night will thank you.
