Basketball School Activity by KiaraSims4Mods | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE
If you play The Sims 4 in Polish and want your teenagers to have something meaningful to do after class, the Basketball School Activity by KiaraSims4Mods | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE is exactly the kind of add-on that changes your daily rotation. This file is the Polish translation of a popular after-school activity mod, and it lets your Sims join a basketball club, train together, and build skills outside of regular school hours. Instead of sending your teen straight home to grind homework, you can now give them a real extracurricular life.
What This Polish Translation Adds to The Sims 4
The base mod by KiaraSims4Mods introduces a brand-new after-school activity centered on basketball. With the translation installed, every menu, notification, and interaction appears in Polish, so nothing breaks the immersion of your Polish-language save. Your Sims can attend practice, improve their fitness and motor skills, and socialize with other club members. It is a small addition on paper, but it fills a gap that The Sims 4 has always had: structured, sport-focused teen activities that feel like part of a routine.
Core Features at a Glance
- A dedicated basketball after-school activity for teen Sims
- Full Polish localization of all in-game text and notifications
- Skill progression tied to practice sessions
- Social interactions with teammates and club members
- Seamless integration with the base game activity system
Requirements and Compatibility
Before you download Basketball School Activity by KiaraSims4Mods | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE, check that your game meets the requirements. The original mod needs The Sims 4: City Living for the activity framework and Seasons for the calendar and weather-related scheduling. XML Injector is also required, because the mod uses it to register the activity correctly. Without XML Injector, the club simply will not appear in your game.
As for versions, the mod and its translation are designed for the current patch level of The Sims 4 on PC and Mac. Because the translation only replaces text strings, it stays compatible as long as the base mod itself works with your patch. If a major game update changes the activity system, you may need to wait for the original creator to refresh the mod before the Polish translation functions again. Always keep both files updated together.
Mod Compatibility Notes
Translation files rarely conflict with other mods because they only swap language entries. However, if you already use another mod that overrides the same activity strings, load order can matter. Place the translation in the same folder as the original mod, and avoid renaming either file. The creator specifically warns against changing filenames, since the game matches translation resources by name.
How to Install the Polish Translation
Installing this add-on is straightforward, but the folder placement is the part people get wrong. Follow these steps carefully:
- Download the original Basketball School Activity mod from its official source.
- Download the Polish translation file separately.
- Extract both archives if they are compressed.
- Place the translation package file in the exact same folder as the mod file.
- Do not rename the mod or the translation package.
- Delete the localthumbcache.package file from your The Sims 4 folder.
- Launch the game and check that the activity appears in Polish.
If the activity shows up in English or does not appear at all, the most common cause is that the translation ended up in a different subfolder than the mod. Move it next to the original package and try again.
For players who prefer a cleaner setup, the foxygame.net launcher handles this kind of add-on automatically: it lists Basketball School Activity by KiaraSims4Mods | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE in its catalog, installs both the base mod and the translation into the correct folder, and keeps them updated when a new patch drops.
Why Polish Players Will Appreciate It
The Sims 4 community in Poland is huge, and translated mods make a real difference for younger players and anyone who simply enjoys playing in their native language. Reading club notifications in Polish feels natural, and it removes the awkward mix of English pop-ups interrupting an otherwise localized game. This translation does not add new gameplay on its own, but it unlocks the full experience of the original mod for Polish-speaking fans.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of the Activity
Pair the basketball club with a fitness-focused aspiration to speed up skill gain. Schedule practice around school hours so your teen does not miss class, and use Seasons to plan around weather that might cancel outdoor sessions. Building a small court in your neighborhood lot also gives the activity a proper home base.
Final Thoughts
The Basketball School Activity by KiaraSims4Mods | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE is a niche but genuinely useful add-on for The Sims 4 players who want more structured teen life and a fully Polish interface. Grab the base mod, drop the translation beside it, respect the file names, and your Sims will be shooting hoops in no time.
