Baby Carrier Basket By PandaSama | Spanish Translation By Dareksimmer
Parenting in The Sims 4 just got a whole lot more convenient. The Baby Carrier Basket By PandaSama | Spanish Translation By Dareksimmer is a must-have mini-mod that transforms how your Sims interact with their newborns. Instead of being tethered to the nursery, your Sims can now strap their little one into a cozy carrier basket and take them anywhere—even off the lot. This Spanish translation by Dareksimmer makes the mod fully accessible to Spanish-speaking players, ensuring that every interaction and menu option reads naturally in your language.
What Does the Baby Carrier Basket Do?
This clever add-on introduces a functional carrier basket that you can place on your lot. Once the basket is set up, simply click on your baby and place them inside. From there, you can pick up the basket and walk around with your infant, attend to their needs using the usual interactions, or even sit down while holding them. The freedom it provides is a game-changer for Sims who love to stay active or socialize without leaving their baby behind.
Key Features and Interactions
- Carry your baby around the lot and take them off-lot entirely.
- Find the carrier in Build/Buy mode by searching "carrier basket" or "pandasama" (or "Cesta portabebés" in Spanish).
- Attend to all baby needs while they are in the basket.
- When traveling, the basket appears in your Sim's inventory upon arrival.
- Some interactions work directly with the basket; for others, your Sim will gently place the basket on the ground first.
- Interact with your baby while your Sim is sitting down.
- When you return home, the baby is automatically teleported back to the crib—even if you accidentally left the basket on another lot.
Compatibility and Requirements
This mod is a translation-only file. To use it, you must first download the original Baby Carrier Basket By PandaSama mod from the creator's page. The translation works seamlessly with the base game and does not require any expansion packs, making it accessible to a wide range of players. It is compatible with the latest game patches, and as long as you keep both the original mod and this translation updated, you will not encounter any issues.
Important Notes for Smooth Gameplay
There are a few quirks to be aware of. If all Sims leave the lot at the same time, you may still see a notification stating that the baby has been sent to a childcare service, even if the baby is in the carrier basket. This is a minor cosmetic issue that does not affect the baby's safety. Additionally, you can use Shift + Click on either the carrier basket or the crib to show or hide the baby as a debugging option. These features ensure you have full control over your gameplay experience.
