Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL
If your Sims have ever dreamed of a perfect at-home manicure without leaving the comfort of their lot, the Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL add-on is exactly what you have been waiting for. This Spanish translation package transforms the popular Manicura en Casa mod by Mercuryfoam into a fully localized experience, letting Spanish-speaking players enjoy every interaction, moodlet, and menu option in their own language. Whether you are a longtime mod enthusiast or just starting to customize your game, this translation opens the door to a more immersive Spa Days routine.
What This Translation Mod Does
At its core, the Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL file is a language pack. It does not add new gameplay on its own. Instead, it converts the original English strings from Mercuryfoam's Manicura en Casa v2.2 mod into clear, natural Spanish. Once installed, your Sims can perform self-manicure interactions at home, gaining the relaxation and self-care benefits that the base mod introduces. Every notification, interaction label, and buff description appears in Spanish, so nothing feels out of place during gameplay.
Requirements You Cannot Skip
Before you rush into downloading, keep these mandatory requirements in mind:
- The Sims 4 Spa Days expansion pack is required for the mod to function.
- You must download the original mod from Mercuryfoam's Patreon post, since this package only contains the translation.
- The XML Injector is mandatory. Without it, the interactions will not appear in-game.
- The translation is designed to match version 2.2 of the original mod.
Players who skip any of these steps often wonder why nothing shows up in the pie menu. The answer is almost always a missing XML Injector or an outdated base mod.
Supported Versions and Mod Compatibility
The Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL works with current The Sims 4 patches as long as the original Mercuryfoam mod remains updated for the same game version. Because translations rely on string references inside the base package, any major update to the original mod can break compatibility. If Mercuryfoam releases a new version beyond 2.2, you should wait for an updated translation before installing. The XML Injector itself is regularly maintained, so keeping it current is a simple habit that prevents most conflicts.
This add-on is also compatible with other Spanish-language mods and does not overwrite core game files. It plays nicely alongside most script mods, meaning you can keep your favorite self-care and beauty overrides active without worrying about clashes. Just remember that load order matters less for translations than for script mods, so you rarely need to rearrange your Mods folder.
How to Install the Spanish Translation
Learning how to install this package is straightforward. Follow these steps:
- Download the original Manicura en Casa mod from Mercuryfoam's Patreon page.
- Download the Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL file from the Mitsuko Simmer and Dkrbto channels.
- Make sure the XML Injector is placed in your Mods folder.
- Extract all package files and drop them into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Enable script mods and custom content in Game Options, then restart the game.
If you prefer a smoother setup, the foxygame.net launcher can handle the entire process for you, placing the Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL and its required files in the correct folders with a single click. Its add-on catalog also flags version compatibility, so you always know whether your translation matches your current base mod before launching the game.
Common Installation Mistakes
One frequent error is placing the translation file inside a subfolder that is nested too deeply. The Sims 4 reads packages one folder deep, so keep things simple. Another mistake is forgetting to delete older translation files, which can cause duplicate or missing strings. Always remove previous versions before adding a new one.
Why Spanish Players Love This Add-On
Localization matters. Reading interactions in your native language makes storytelling richer and menu navigation faster. The Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL respects the original mod's tone while adapting idioms naturally, so the experience feels official rather than machine-translated. For content creators and streamers who play in Spanish, this is a huge quality-of-life improvement.
Final Thoughts
The Automanicura/Self-Manicure x Mercuryfoam TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL is a must-have for Spanish-speaking Sims 4 players who enjoy self-care gameplay. Download the base mod, grab the XML Injector, and let your Sims pamper themselves at home. With the right setup, your Spa Days will feel more personal than ever, and your Sims will thank you for the polished nails and relaxed moodlets.
