Antojos de Embarazada/Pregnancy Cravings x plumlace TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL
Pregnancy in The Sims 4 just got a whole lot more flavorful. If you have ever wished your pregnant Sims would crave pickles at 3 a.m. or demand a bizarre combination of ice cream and anchovies, the Antojos de Embarazada/Pregnancy Cravings x plumlace TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL mod is exactly what your game needs. This Spanish translation brings the beloved plumlace pregnancy cravings mod to life for Spanish-speaking players, making the experience feel native and immersive.
What Does This Mod Add to Your Game?
The original mod by plumlace introduces a dynamic craving system for pregnant Sims. Instead of the generic moodlets, your Sim will now experience specific food cravings that change throughout each trimester. These cravings are not just cosmetic; they affect your Sim's mood and comfort. If the craving is ignored, your Sim becomes tense and uncomfortable. Satisfy the craving, and your Sim gets a burst of happy emotions and a faster hunger decay.
This translation pack converts every single line of that mod into natural, colloquial Spanish. You will see phrases like "¡Necesito chocolate con salsa picante!" instead of awkward machine translations. The tone matches the playful nature of The Sims 4, ensuring that the humor and charm of the original mod are preserved.
Key Features of the Spanish Translation
- Full localization of all craving moodlets, notifications, and interaction texts.
- Compatible with the latest game patches and expansion packs.
- Retains the original mod's functionality without any performance loss.
- Easy to switch between English and Spanish by removing or adding the file.
Requirements and Compatibility
Before you download Antojos de Embarazada/Pregnancy Cravings x plumlace TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL, you need to meet a few requirements. This mod specifically requires the Get to Work and Seasons expansion packs. These packs are essential because the mod uses mechanics and food items introduced in those expansions. Without them, the mod will not function correctly.
Additionally, you must have the XML Injector installed in your Mods folder. This is a core dependency for many Sims 4 mods, as it allows scripted content to load dynamically without conflicting with other mods. If you do not have it, download the latest version from a reputable mod site and place it in your Mods folder alongside the translation files.
Important: You Need the Original Mod
This translation is only a language pack. It does not contain the actual craving system. To use it, you must first download the original plumlace mod from the creator's Patreon page. The translation files will overwrite the English text with Spanish text, but they rely on the original mod's scripts and tuning data. Make sure both files are in your Mods folder, and the translation folder is placed after the original in alphabetical order to ensure it loads correctly.
How to Install the Mod
Installing this mod is straightforward, but following the steps carefully will prevent common issues. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install the Antojos de Embarazada/Pregnancy Cravings x plumlace TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL for The Sims 4:
- Download the original plumlace mod from the Patreon link provided by the translator.
- Download the XML Injector from its official source.
- Download the Spanish translation file from the Mitsuko Simmer and Dkrbto page.
- Extract all ZIP files. You should have three folders or files: the original mod, the XML Injector, and the translation .package file.
- Place all three into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder.
- Enable "Script Mods" and "Custom Content" in your game settings.
- Restart the game completely for the mods to load.
Once loaded, you can verify the mod is working by getting a Sim pregnant. Within the first trimester, a craving notification should appear in Spanish. If you see English text, double-check that the translation file is not in a subfolder that is too deep. The game only reads files one folder level deep by default.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
If the mod does not appear in your game, check the following: ensure you have both expansion packs installed and updated. Verify that the XML Injector is the latest version. Also, confirm that your game version is up to date. The mod is compatible with the base game version 1.108 and later, but always check the mod creator's page for updates after major game patches.
When you manage multiple mods, using a dedicated launcher can simplify everything. The foxygame.net launcher offers a one-click install feature for the Antojos de Embarazada/Pregnancy Cravings x plumlace TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL, automatically placing files in the correct folders and checking version compatibility before you even launch the game. This eliminates the guesswork of manual installation and reduces the risk of broken mods after an update.

They do not simply translate word-for-word; they adapt idioms and food names to fit Latin American and European Spanish nuances, making the text feel authentic. Their attention to detail is evident in the craving descriptions, which are humorous and relatable.
Moreover, the translation is regularly updated. Whenever the original mod receives a patch, the translators release a matching update within days.
