Anna Wong: A Master Mixologist Sim for The Sims 4
If your current households feel a little too predictable, Anna Wong is the kind of Sim who shakes things up. She is a Young Adult Female with the Master Mixologist aspiration, built for players who want a character with real personality from the very first interaction. Whether you are filling a trendy bar in San Myshuno or starting a fresh rags-to-riches story, she slots neatly into almost any save file.
Who Is Anna Wong?
Anna Wong is a Base Game Only creation, which means you do not need to own every expansion pack to bring her into your world. Her trait lineup is Freegan, Adventurous, and Bro. That combination produces a Sim who hates waste, craves travel, and gets along easily with almost everyone she meets. She will happily dig through a dumpster for a free meal one minute and charm a room full of strangers the next.
Her Master Mixologist aspiration pushes her toward the bar, where she can level up mixology skills, unlock new drink recipes, and eventually earn serious Simoleons from her craft. Pair that with the Freegan trait and you get an interesting tension: a Sim who loves fancy drinks but refuses to let anything go to waste.
Everyday Style and Custom Content
Anna Wong comes dressed in her everyday outfit, but the creator is upfront about an important detail. She was designed around a specific set of custom content, and without those files she will not look exactly like the preview images. The full CC list covers lighting overlays, berry genetics and presets, eye presets, a female New Year collection, eyeliner sets, genetics remixes, makeup kits, blush, soft brows, lashes, a skirt, a tank top, a mouth scale slider, a lips preset, and a hairstyle.
If you skip any of these, expect changes to her face shape, skin tone, makeup, and hair. The safest approach is to download every item on the list before you place her in your game. Most of these files come from CurseForge and The Sims Resource, with a couple hosted on Tumblr and Patreon. Always check that a link still works, since creators occasionally update or move their uploads.
Version Support and Mod Compatibility
Because Anna Wong relies on Base Game assets and custom content rather than expansion-specific features, she works across a wide range of The Sims 4 versions. That said, custom content is the part most likely to break. After a major patch, sliders and presets are usually the first to cause issues, so keep an eye on the original creator pages for updates.
For players who prefer a tidier setup, the foxygame.net launcher gathers add-ons like Anna Wong into a single catalog and handles one-click installation, so you spend less time chasing individual files. It also manages automatic updates and version checks, which is genuinely useful when a patch lands and your custom content needs refreshing.
What You Need Before Installing
- The Sims 4 Base Game installed and updated
- All custom content from the original list
- Script mods enabled in Game Options if you use sliders
- Enough free space for presets, makeup, and hair files
How to Install Anna Wong
Installing her is straightforward once your files are ready. Follow these steps:
- Download Anna Wong and every piece of required custom content.
- Extract any .zip or .rar archives using a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip.
- Move the .package files into your Mods folder, found under Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Keep her tray files (.trayitem, .householdbinary, .sgi, .hhi) in the Tray folder instead.
- Launch the game, open your Library, and place her in a household.
If she appears with the wrong hair or a missing outfit, a CC file is almost certainly absent or placed in the wrong folder. Double-check your Mods directory before assuming the download is broken.
Final Thoughts
Anna Wong is a well-rounded Sim for players who want a character with clear goals and a distinct look. Her Base Game Only requirement keeps her accessible, while her Freegan, Adventurous, and Bro traits make her fun to play in nearly any neighborhood. Grab the custom content first, install carefully, and she will quickly become one of your most memorable household members.
