Whether you are a native Spanish speaker or simply prefer your game interface in Spanish, this add-on ensures you won't miss a single detail of the routine options available. The mod is designed to integrate seamlessly with the base game calendar system, making it a must-have for storytellers and simulation enthusiasts alike.
What Are AM and PM Traditions?
The original mod, created by SimwithShan, introduces a set of custom traditions that can be added to any day on your Sims' calendar. These traditions are not just decorative; they actively encourage your Sims to perform specific actions throughout the day. The "AM" traditions focus on starting the day off right, with options ranging from a refreshing morning shower, baths, brushing your teeth, and even shaving, to much-needed skincare routines. After all that hard work getting clean, your Sim can relax with a calming cup of coffee or tea.
For those who work morning shifts, the mod thoughtfully includes a "bagged lunch" option, allowing your Sim to prepare for the day ahead. On the flip side, "PM" traditions help wind down the evening, creating a clear separation between the hustle of the day and the tranquility of the night. This simple addition can drastically change how you play, giving each Sim a distinct personality based on their chosen habits.

It is perfect for players who enjoy setting specific schedules for their Sims or who want to add a touch of realism to their daily grind. The mod works beautifully with other gameplay enhancements, and it is lightweight, so it won't bog down your game's performance.
How to Install the Mod
Learning how to install this translation is straightforward. First, ensure you have downloaded the original "AM and PM Traditions" mod from SimwithShan. Once that is in your Mods folder, simply add the Spanish translation file alongside it. The translation will override the default English strings, providing the Spanish text in-game. Remember to enable "Script Mods" and "Custom Content" in your game settings, then restart The Sims 4 to see the changes take effect.
The installation process is identical for both the base game and if you own expansion packs, as this mod relies on the base calendar system introduced in the Seasons expansion. It is highly compatible with the standard The Sims 4 versions, including the latest updates. You won't need to worry about conflicts with other UI mods, as this translation only replaces specific text strings. For players who use the foxygame.net launcher, the process is even simpler; the launcher's add-on catalog allows you to manage and install the AM and PM Traditions by SimwithShan Spanish translation with a single click, ensuring that the files are placed correctly and that version compatibility is checked automatically.
Why Add Morning and Evening Routines?
Adding these traditions to your calendar does more than just give your Sim a to-do list. It changes their autonomy and behavior. When a tradition is active, your Sim will autonomously seek out the related objects. For example, if you set the "Morning Shower" tradition, your Sim will be more likely to shower without you having to direct them. This frees you up to focus on other aspects of their life, like building skills or socializing, while they take care of their personal hygiene.
Furthermore, these routines can trigger unique moodlets. A Sim who starts their day with a relaxing cup of tea might receive a "Calm" moodlet, while one who shaves might feel "Confident." These small buffs can have a significant impact on their performance at work or school. The evening traditions work similarly, helping your Sim to relax and sleep better, reducing the chance of waking up stressed. It is a brilliant way to add depth to the simulation without adding complex new mechanics.
Compatibility and Requirements
This translation is designed for The Sims 4 and requires the base game along with the Seasons Expansion Pack to function, as the calendar is a core feature of that pack. It is fully compatible with the latest game patches. If you are using the foxygame.net launcher, you can rely on its auto-update feature to keep the AM and PM Traditions by SimwithShan Spanish translation in sync with any future patches, eliminating the hassle of manually checking for mod updates.
