Alan Duncan - No CC
Sometimes your Sims 4 save just needs a fresh face with a bit of personality, and Alan Duncan - No CC delivers exactly that. This Young Adult male Sim arrives ready to charm his way through every neighborhood, and the best part is that he uses zero custom content. If you have ever hesitated to download a Sim because you did not want to hunt down dozens of missing files, this one is built for you.
Who Is Alan Duncan?
Alan Duncan is a Human male Young Adult with a personality that practically writes its own storylines. His aspiration is Serial Romantic, which means he will happily juggle multiple love interests while your other Sims deal with the fallout. Pair that with his traits, and you get a Sim who is genuinely fun to watch.
- Neat: Alan keeps his home spotless and gets tense in messy rooms.
- Horse Lover: He bonds quickly with horses and thrives around equestrian activities.
- Bookworm: Expect plenty of reading sessions and steady skill gains.
That combination creates an interesting contrast. He is tidy, studious, and gentle with animals, yet his romantic aspiration pushes him toward chaos. Players who enjoy storytelling will find plenty of material here, whether you place him in a quiet cottage or a busy city apartment.
No Custom Content Means No Headaches
The "No CC" label is the real selling point. Every outfit, hairstyle, and accessory on Alan comes from the base game or official packs, so nothing breaks when you load him into your save. You will not see the dreaded bald, naked, or question-mark-covered Sim that appears when custom content is missing. That makes him ideal for players who keep a clean mods folder, and for anyone sharing screenshots or save files with friends.
Because he relies on official assets, your results depend slightly on which packs you own. If you have the Horse Ranch expansion, his Horse Lover trait and equestrian outfits will feel completely at home. Without it, he still works fine, though some pack-specific clothing may swap to a base game alternative. Either way, he remains fully playable.
Version Support and Mod Compatibility
Alan Duncan - No CC for The Sims 4 is designed to work across current patch versions, including the most recent updates to the base game. Since he contains no custom content, there are no broken meshes or outdated scripts to worry about after a patch. The only thing worth noting is the creator's own comment about the High School Years pack occasionally adding an extra trait or detail to the Sim. If you notice something unexpected in his panel, simply remove it manually in Create A Sim, and he will be exactly as intended.
Mod compatibility is equally straightforward. Alan does not require MC Command Center, Wonderful Whims, or any other script mod to function. He will coexist peacefully with whatever gameplay mods you already run, which makes him a safe addition to heavily modded saves. If you use a launcher such as foxygame.net, you can add Alan Duncan - No CC straight from its add-on catalog, letting the tool handle version checks and one-click installation so nothing conflicts with your existing setup.
How to Install Alan Duncan - No CC
Installing him takes only a minute, even if you are new to Sims 4 downloads. Follow these steps:
- Download the Sim file from your chosen source and save it to your computer.
- Open your Documents folder, then go to Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray.
- Place the extracted files directly into the Tray folder. Do not create subfolders inside it.
- Launch The Sims 4 and open your Gallery. Search for Alan Duncan or check your library.
- Select him and place him in a household or merge him into an existing family.
If he does not appear right away, close the game, confirm the files are in the correct folder, and restart. Remember that Tray files come in pairs, so keep both the .household and .trayitem files together.
Why Add Him to Your Game
Alan Duncan - No CC fills a useful niche. He is a ready-made character with clear traits and a dramatic aspiration, he requires no extra downloads, and he slots into almost any save without breaking.
