- Wither Bone Meal - This does not grow plants. Instead, it turns Grass Blocks into Dirt and Dirt into Coarse Dirt, with a very small chance to spawn a Wither Rose.
- Steel Ingot - Simply smelt an Iron Ingot again in a furnace. The process takes much longer, but the result is worth the wait.
- Blaze Gold Ingot - Craft it with one Gold Ingot in the center and four Blaze Powder arranged in a plus shape.
- Soul Shard - Smelt Soul Sand in a furnace to produce Soul Shards.
- Soul Spark Dust - Combine a Soul Shard with Wither Bone Meal.
- Soul Blaze Ingot - Place one Blaze Gold Ingot in the middle of the crafting grid and surround it with four Soul Spark Dust in a plus pattern.
Upgrade Materials and Smithing
Two rare upgrade materials push your gear even further. In the Smithing Table, Netherite tools and swords can be upgraded with a Nether Star into Nether Star gear, while Prismarine tools and swords can be upgraded with a Heart of the Sea into Sea tools and swords. These upgrades keep late-game progression meaningful without replacing the vanilla Netherite grind.
Special Item Effects
Several tool sets come with unique combat and utility perks that change how you play:
- Sea tools and sword - Mining speed is not affected underwater, and all Sea gear deals a small amount of extra damage while you are submerged.
