TweakerMore: The Ultimate Client-Side Tweak Mod for Minecraft

TweakerMore

If you have ever wished for a way to subtly enhance your Minecraft experience without losing that classic vanilla feel, TweakerMore is the mod you have been searching for. It is a comprehensive collection of client-side tweaks that puts you in complete control, allowing you to enable only the features you want while leaving the rest of the game untouched. The philosophy is simple: everything is disabled by default, so you never have to worry about the mod changing your game before you are ready.

What Makes TweakerMore Stand Out?

Unlike many mods that force a specific set of changes upon you, TweakerMore acts as a toolkit. It provides dozens of individual options that you can toggle on or off at will. This means you can pick and choose exactly which quality-of-life improvements, visual aids, or utility functions you want to add to your world. The mod is designed to be lightweight and unobtrusive, ensuring that your performance remains smooth even with multiple tweaks active.

Key Features and Customization

The range of available tweaks is impressive. You can enable features like automatic tool switching, which selects the best tool for the block you are breaking, or tweak the way your inventory behaves with smarter item scrolling. Visual enhancements include the ability to see light levels on blocks to prevent mob spawning, or to highlight specific blocks for easier navigation. For players who enjoy building, there are options to fine-tune block placement and to get a clearer view of your surroundings. The mod also integrates seamlessly with other popular tools, offering enhanced functionality when used alongside mods like Litematica, Tweakeroo, or Xaero's World Map.

How to Install TweakerMore for Minecraft

Getting started with TweakerMore is straightforward, but it does have a few requirements. First, you need to have the Fabric Loader installed, version 0.10.4 or higher. This mod is built for Fabric, so it will not work with Forge. You also need the MaLiLib library mod, which is a common dependency for many Masa-style tweak mods. Once you have Fabric and MaLiLib set up, simply download TweakerMore and place the .jar file into your mods folder. Launch the game, and you are ready to go.

If you prefer a more streamlined approach, the foxygame.net launcher offers a one-click install for TweakerMore, automatically handling all dependencies and ensuring you have the correct version for your game. This launcher also provides a curated catalog of add-ons, making it easy to discover and manage mods like TweakerMore alongside your other favorites.

Accessing the Config GUI

Once installed, you can access the configuration screen by pressing the default hotkey K + C. This opens a clean, intuitive interface where every tweak is listed with a clear description. You can also open the config GUI through Mod Menu if you have that installed, which many players find convenient. The interface allows you to search for specific options, toggle them on or off, and even adjust hotkeys for individual features. Because everything is disabled by default, you can explore the list without accidentally activating anything you do not want.

Essential Tweaks for Every Playstyle

Whether you are a technical player, a builder, or an explorer, TweakerMore has something for you. Here are a few standout options that players often enable first:

• Auto Tool: Automatically selects the most effective tool from your hotbar when breaking a block.
• Light Level Overlay: Displays a numerical light level on blocks to help you spawn-proof areas.
• Inventory Preview: Shows a tooltip with the contents of a shulker box or chest without opening it.
• Better Placement: Allows you to place blocks in ways that are normally impossible, such as against the side of a slab.
• Free Camera: Detaches the camera from the player, letting you scout ahead without moving your character.

These are just a few examples. The full list of available options is extensive, and you can find detailed documentation for every feature on the mod's official wiki or by checking the in-game config descriptions.

Compatibility and Synergy with Other Mods

TweakerMore is designed to work harmoniously with a wide range of other client-side mods. It has special integration with Iris for shader support, EasierCrafting for streamlined recipe management, and Item Scroller for inventory movement. If you use Litematica for schematic building, TweakerMore adds extra functionality to make the process smoother. It also works well with Optifine via Optifabric, though some visual tweaks may overlap. The mod is built for Fabric and supports modern Minecraft versions, including 1.20.x and 1.19.x, ensuring you can enjoy its features on the latest updates.

Why You Should Download TweakerMore

If you value a clean, vanilla-like experience but still want the power to customize your gameplay, TweakerMore is an essential addition to your mod list. Its non-intrusive design means you can add it to any modpack without worrying about conflicts or unwanted changes. The ability to enable only the tweaks you need makes it perfect for both single-player worlds and multiplayer servers, as long as the server allows client-side mods. The mod is actively maintained, so you can expect updates and new features as Minecraft evolves.

To download TweakerMore, visit the official Modrinth or CurseForge page and select the version that matches your Fabric installation. Remember to also have MaLiLib installed. Once you have the files, simply drop them into your mods folder and start customizing your game. With TweakerMore, you are always in control of your Minecraft experience.
