ScytheMod
ScytheMod is not just another weapon pack. It is a progression and gameplay overhaul built around a growing arsenal of specialized tools, each designed to open up a completely different way to play Minecraft. Instead of adding one more damage number to your hotbar, this mod asks a simple question: what if every scythe felt like its own class?
Seven Scythes, Seven Distinct Playstyles
At its core, ScytheMod revolves around seven scythes, and none of them are simple recolors of the same weapon. Each one is built around its own identity, mechanics, and intended role in combat or utility.
Bloody Scythe
The Bloody Scythe rewards players who stay inside the fight. Bleeding, vampirism, partial defense penetration, enemy displacement, and a high-risk Blood Harvest mechanic make it most dangerous when the wielder commits to aggression instead of retreating.
Toxic Scythe
The Toxic Scythe attacks something ordinary weapons ignore: the enemy's ability to keep fighting. Poison, direct damage, and armor degradation gradually dismantle heavily equipped targets, making prolonged encounters its specialty.
Withering Scythe
The Withering Scythe turns defeated enemies into a resource. Kills grant souls that summon loyal minions who follow their owner, fight alongside them, recover using the scythe's durability, and grow stronger through the wielder's abilities.
Golden Scythe
The Golden Scythe manipulates loot, marks valuable targets, and turns dangerous enemies into more profitable kills. It also embraces Minecraft's gold theme, letting Piglins recognize the wielder as protected while the scythe is held.
Frozen Scythe
The Frozen Scythe controls space. It freezes enemies, restricts movement, turns water into temporary terrain, and punishes opponents who try to escape from range. Ice Spike offers a ranged threat, while Frozen Storm disrupts entire groups.
Farmer Scythe
Not every scythe was made for killing. The Farmer Scythe harvests and replants mature crops, improves yields, tills soil, hydrates farmland, collects entire fields, and accelerates nearby crop growth. Its damage is intentionally based on a Netherite Hoe.
Fire Scythe
The Fire Scythe is built around pursuit and denying recovery. Attacks ignite enemies and inflict Burns, a status effect that prevents healing. While held, it lets the wielder walk across lava and ignore Magma Block damage, while Hunting Fireball introduces target locking and homing projectiles.
How to Install ScytheMod for Minecraft
If you want to download ScytheMod, start by checking the supported Minecraft versions listed on the downloaded file. The mod runs on the Fabric (Quilt) Loader, with Quilt auto-supported, and it requires Fabric API. If you would rather skip manual file management, the foxygame.net launcher can handle the entire setup for ScytheMod in a single click, pulling the correct build for your game version automatically.
Once installed, drop the mod into your mods folder, launch the game, and the scythes will appear through normal survival progression. The built-in guidebook, A Young Reaper's First Steps, explains each element's origin, crafting path, and intended playstyle directly inside Minecraft.
Progression Beyond Crafting
Crafting a scythe is only the beginning. Each element has its own essence, theme, and method of obtaining the resources needed for it. The advancement system tracks far more than recipes, encouraging players to actually use their weapons, experiment with abilities, and eventually master the full arsenal.

Designed for Survival and Multiplayer
ScytheMod works as part of normal survival progression rather than a creative-mode showcase. Its area abilities distinguish between valid enemies, teammates, and owned creatures, so powerful attacks stay usable without blindly hitting everything nearby. In PvP, armor destruction, healing denial, pursuit, battlefield control, and summons all provide tools beyond raw melee damage.
Choose a Path
Become harder to kill with Blood. Rot your opponent's defenses with Toxicity. Build an army with Withering. Turn battle into profit with Gold. Take control of the battlefield with Frost. Turn entire fields into a single harvest with the Farmer. Or make sure your target cannot escape the Fire.
You do not have to choose only one. Master them all.
