Random Comments by ElectricDragonBoy
If you have ever wanted Minecraft to feel like a fever dream designed by a committee of internet memes, then Random Comments by ElectricDragonBoy is the add-on for you. This mod is a glorious grab bag of unrelated ideas, each one stranger than the last, and it somehow all works together to create one of the most entertaining experiences you can have in the game. Whether you are a veteran builder or a curious newcomer, this pack promises surprises around every corner.
What Does This Mod Actually Add?
The core concept is simple: take a pile of community-suggested ideas and cram them into a single add-on. The result is a collection of ten distinct features that range from helpful to completely absurd. You never quite know what you are going to get, and that unpredictability is exactly the point.
The Mega Minecraft Star and Existential Crisis
Activating the Mega Minecraft Star triggers a paragraph-long response about Minecraft itself, followed by a full-blown existential life crisis. As if that were not enough, it also converts any block into grass blocks. It is bizarre, it is hilarious, and it is the perfect introduction to the mod's sense of humor.
Commands, Shrines, and Explosive Bones
Operators can use the /ribbit command to grant frog-like effects, which is exactly as silly as it sounds. Meanwhile, the Enhanced Bone summons a shrine block when dropped. Right-click that shrine and you will unleash a hoard of zombies and skeletons on your unsuspecting world.
Gnomes, Villagers, and a Suspicious Potion
Three new gnome mobs join the fray: a regular gnome that mostly wanders, a friendly gnome you can ride at high speed, and an evil gnome that attacks but shrugs off melee damage. A Female Villager also appears, vanishing when you walk into her and dropping a poppy upon death. That poppy can be brewed into the S.I.M.P potion, adding yet another layer of oddity.
Crossovers Galore
Fans of other games will find plenty to enjoy. Crewmates and Imposters arrive alongside an Emergency Meeting block. A Pride Mod lets you craft a pride flag and pride blade to spread positivity to mobs. Throwable Pokemon Cards transform enemies into a horrific Pikachu knockoff that becomes your loyal friend, firing raw gold at your foes. Finally, a full Mario cast spawns naturally or via the Super Mario World block, complete with Mario, Luigi, Toad, Goomba, and Bowser, who may even interact with each other in unexpected encounters.
