More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE]: Brew Every Effect

More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE]

Minecraft's vanilla potion system is iconic, but it leaves many status effects untouched. You can't brew a Potion of Haste to speed up mining, or a Potion of Levitation to float away from danger. That's where More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE] steps in. This mod fills the gaps, giving you brewing recipes for nearly every effect in the game. Whether you're a builder craving Haste, an explorer wanting Luck, or a fighter needing Resistance, this add-on transforms your brewing stand into a complete alchemy lab.

What Does More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE] Add?

The core idea is simple: every Minecraft status effect should have a corresponding potion and tipped arrow. The mod delivers exactly that, with carefully balanced recipes that feel like natural extensions of vanilla brewing. You'll get potions for Haste, Mining Fatigue, Luck, Unluck, Nausea, Blindness, Levitation, Resistance, Saturation, Hunger, Withering, Absorption, Health Boost, Glowing, and even Darkness. Each comes in standard potion forms (normal, splash, lingering) and as tipped arrows, so you can use them however you like.

Supported languages include English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and German, making the mod accessible to a wide audience. Special thanks go to junshengxie for the Chinese translations.

Supported Minecraft Versions and Loaders

One of the best things about More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE] is its broad compatibility. The mod works on NeoForge for Minecraft versions 1.20.4 through 1.21.4, as well as on Forge and Fabric for the same version range. This means you can enjoy expanded potion brewing no matter which modding platform you prefer. The developer has ensured that the add-on runs smoothly across all three loaders, so you won't have to worry about conflicts or missing features.

If you're looking to download More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE], you can grab it from popular mod hosting sites. For those using the foxygame.net launcher, the add-on is available right in the built-in catalog, allowing for one-click installation and automatic updates whenever a new version drops. This makes it incredibly easy to keep your potion brewing up to date without manually checking for compatibility patches.

Complete Brewing Recipes

Here's how you can craft each new potion. The recipes are designed to use existing vanilla ingredients wherever possible, so you won't need to hunt for obscure items.

• Haste: Swiftness Potion + Gold Nugget
• Mining Fatigue: Haste Potion + Fermented Spider Eye
• Luck: Awkward Potion + Emerald
• Unluck: Luck Potion + Fermented Spider Eye
• Nausea: Awkward Potion + Poisonous Potato
• Blindness: Awkward Potion + Ink Sac
• Levitation: Slow Falling Potion + Fermented Spider Eye
• Resistance: Awkward Potion + Nautilus Shell
• Saturation: Awkward Potion + Beetroot
• Hunger: Saturation Potion + Fermented Spider Eye
• Withering: Awkward Potion + Wither Rose (1.14+) or Wither Skeleton Skull (1.13)
• Absorption: Awkward Potion + Golden Apple
• Health Boost: Absorption Potion + Glistering Melon
• Glowing: Mundane Potion + Glowstone
• Darkness: Blindness Potion + Echo Shard (1.21+)

All these recipes work exactly like vanilla brewing: place the base potion in the bottom slots and the ingredient in the top slot, then wait for the bubbles to finish. The resulting potions can be further modified with gunpowder, dragon's breath, or glowstone/redstone to create splash, lingering, extended, or stronger variants.

How to Install More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE]

Installing the mod is straightforward, regardless of your chosen loader. First, make sure you have the correct mod loader installed for your Minecraft version—NeoForge, Forge, or Fabric. Then, download More Vanilla Potions [NEOFORGE&FABRIC&FORGE] from a trusted source. Place the downloaded .jar file into your mods folder. Launch the game, and you're ready to brew. If you're using the foxygame.net launcher, the process is even simpler: just search for the mod in the launcher's add-on section, click install, and the launcher handles version matching and dependencies automatically.

No additional dependencies are required, so you can drop it in and play. The mod is lightweight and won't impact performance.

What About Unbrewable Effects?

You might notice that a few effects are missing from the recipe list: Dolphin's Grace, Conduit Power, Bad Omen, and Hero of the Village. The developer intentionally left these unbrewable because they function as area effects or game flags rather than personal buffs. Brewing them could break game balance or cause unintended behavior. However, the creator has hinted that a future version might include optional recipes for these effects, so keep an eye on updates.
