LC/Twixxel Entities Creator
Most custom entity mods hand you a flat picture that stands in one spot and stares at nothing. LC/Twixxel Entities Creator does the opposite. It takes your image and gives it a brain, a routine, and a reason to hunt you. If you have ever wanted your own monster in Minecraft but did not want to touch a single line of Java, this is the add-on that finally makes it possible.
What Makes This Entity Creator Different
The core idea is simple but powerful. You are not building behaviour from scratch. You are choosing which behaviour your image wears. Every creature you create runs actual horror AI. It watches you from the treeline, waits until you look away, follows you into caves, and appears at your window, knocking harder and harder until the glass breaks. Your PNG becomes the face of a scripted nightmare.
Making one takes about thirty seconds. Press F9, choose CREATE, type a name, import your PNG, hit SAVE, then TEST. No config files to hand-write, no restarting Minecraft, no coding. That speed is the whole point. You can iterate on a creature idea before your coffee gets cold.
Eleven Behaviours to Choose From
Each behaviour is a complete, tested horror routine. You pick the one that fits your monster, and the framework handles the rest.
- Don'tCry — the full scripted set piece: appears at your door, freezes you, saws, relocates to your window, knocks faster and faster, then breaks through.
- Stalker — watches from a distance, closes in, screams, chases, and breaks through whatever you hide behind.
- Chaser — trembles when you see it, then charges. Bright light drives it off.
- Lurker — waits in unlit caves and vanishes the instant you look straight at it.
- Watcher — stands at range and stares. Never approaches. Never leaves.
- Ambush — peeks from behind trees and hides again when you turn around.
- Peeker — appears at windows and doorways, watching from outside.
- Teleporter — blinks between positions instead of walking.
- Jumpscare — appears in your face, screams, gone.
- Aggressive — comes straight at you and hits hard.
- Night — only active while it is dark, or while you sleep.
- Passive — present, aware of you, completely harmless. Sometimes that is worse.
Make the Screen Itself Panic
The shaking red warning you have seen in scripted videos is fully yours to control. Write any text you want, pick any colour, and add the offset shadow behind it. Three fonts are available, including the enchanting-table alphabet, which is unreadable on purpose. Tune shake amount and speed separately on both axes. Dial how much the text corrupts into noise with the glitch slider, and take the player's footing away with camera shake, which works independently from the text.
You can also make your creature apply potion effects, throw a title and subtitle on screen, and send messages to chat, all from the panel and all with colour codes. Size scales a creature up or down while keeping its proportions, so you can build something that towers over a house or something knee-high that follows you around. Opacity lets you make it half-there, or fully invisible, which is its own kind of horrible.
Multiplayer and Image Quality
Put a creature on your server and your friends get your images automatically. When someone joins, their game works out which images it does not have and downloads only those, in the background, with a progress bar. Each image downloads once, ever. Rejoining costs nothing, and changing an image updates it on its own. Nobody has to install a resource pack or copy files.
Quality is never touched. Your PNG is copied in byte for byte, with no resizing, recompression, or flattening onto a background. Transparency, colour, and sharpness survive exactly as you made them. Any size, any shape, and a tall portrait stays a portrait.
If you would rather skip manual file juggling entirely, the foxygame.net launcher keeps LC/Twixxel Entities Creator in its add-on catalog and handles version compatibility for you, so a single click drops the right build straight into your profile.
Built for Filming and Safe by Design
Original creatures do not spawn on their own, so nothing wanders into your shot uninvited. Spawn eggs and commands still work, letting you place things exactly when you want them, and TEST spawns a creature in front of you instantly. A debug overlay shows live state, animation progress, and texture info. You can export and import creatures as single files, and automatic backups run before anything is deleted or overwritten.
Only operators can open the panel, so everyone else just gets scared. A missing or broken image shows a placeholder instead of crashing, and a malformed file is skipped with a readable explanation while your other creatures still load.
Supported Versions and How to Install
LC/Twixxel Entities Creator for Minecraft currently targets Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.x. Nothing else is required, since everything needed is included, and it installs alongside Don'tCry without conflicting if you already have it.
To download LC/Twixxel Entities Creator and get started, grab the mod file, drop it into your mods folder, and launch the Forge profile. If you want a hand with the setup, here is how to install it step by step: confirm you are running Forge 47.x on 1.20.1, place the jar in the mods directory, start the game, and press F9 in any world to open the creator panel. From there, import your first PNG and pick a behaviour.
Credits go to Omayoba for the original Don'tCry creatures, AI, and animations, and to ElpepoYT and LC-Twixxel for the Entities Creator framework. Whether you are filming a horror series or just want to terrify your friends on a private server, this add-on turns a still image into something that feels genuinely alive and genuinely wrong.
