Kawaii World! Paintings
If you have ever felt that the standard Minecraft paintings were missing a touch of charm, the Kawaii World! Paintings add-on is about to become your new favorite resource pack. This delightful creation swaps out every default painting in the game with a hand-crafted, irresistibly cute alternative. From fluffy animals to pastel treats and dreamy landscapes, each canvas tells a tiny story that can soften even the most rugged survival base. Whether you are decorating a cozy cottage or adding personality to a modern build, this pack delivers a consistent, heartwarming aesthetic that feels right at home in any world.
What Makes Kawaii World! Paintings So Special?
Unlike many texture packs that overhaul entire biomes or block sets, Kawaii World! Paintings for Minecraft focuses on a single, high-impact element: the paintings. The artist has reimagined all 26 vanilla painting motifs with a kawaii twist, meaning soft pastels, rounded shapes, and an overall gentle vibe. You will find smiling sushi rolls, sleepy kittens, celestial moons with blushy cheeks, and even a few whimsical fantasy scenes. The pack retains the original painting sizes and placement mechanics, so it works seamlessly with any existing map or build. Simply hang a painting and watch it transform into a piece of adorable wall art.
Perfect for Every Builder and Decorator
Whether you are designing a Japanese-inspired tea house, a pastel-themed bedroom, or a playful daycare center, these paintings add instant warmth. The color palette is carefully chosen to complement popular building blocks like quartz, birch wood, wool, and concrete. Because the pack only alters painting textures, it remains lightweight and compatible with most other resource packs and shaders. You can layer it above your favorite realistic or cartoon-style pack to inject a dose of cuteness without losing the overall look of your world.

For those who enjoy a streamlined experience, the foxygame.net launcher offers a convenient add-on catalog where you can find Kawaii World! Paintings and install it with a single click, complete with automatic updates to keep your cute canvases fresh across multiple Minecraft versions.
Supported Minecraft Versions and Compatibility
This resource pack is designed for the Java Edition of Minecraft and has been tested on versions 1.19 through 1.21. Because it only replaces painting textures, it does not require any mod loaders like Forge or Fabric. It works perfectly in vanilla Minecraft and can be used on multiplayer servers as long as the server allows custom resource packs. If you are playing on Bedrock Edition, you may need to convert the pack or look for a dedicated Bedrock port, as the file structure differs slightly.
Pairing with Other Kawaii Add-ons
While Kawaii World! Paintings stands beautifully on its own, it is actually a spin-off from the full Kawaii World! texture pack. If you fall in love with the painting style, you might consider exploring the complete pack, which extends the same adorable aesthetic to blocks, items, mobs, and the user interface. However, many players prefer to mix and match, using the paintings as a subtle accent while keeping the rest of their game vanilla or using a different resource pack. The modular nature of this add-on makes it incredibly flexible.
