Furina Totem — Chibi Edition
Few items in Minecraft feel as reassuring as the Totem of Undying. It sits quietly in your off-hand, ready to snatch you from the jaws of death at the worst possible moment. But let's be honest: the vanilla totem looks like a grim little golden relic. What if it looked like Furina instead? That is exactly what Furina Totem — Chibi Edition delivers, and it is every bit as charming as it sounds.
What Is Furina Totem — Chibi Edition?
Furina Totem — Chibi Edition is a Minecraft Java resource pack that swaps the vanilla Totem of Undying for an adorable animated chibi version of Furina from Genshin Impact. The Hydro Archon herself now watches over your survival runs, and she does it with style. The pack is purely cosmetic, meaning your totem still works exactly the same way in combat. You keep the second chance at life; you just get a much cuter guardian while you do it.
Created by Sunatto, the pack leans into Furina's Fontaine aesthetic with custom textures and a transparent background that makes the character pop against any inventory screen or hotbar. It is a small change on paper, but once you see that little chibi Furina floating in your hand, going back to the vanilla totem feels impossible.
Features at a Glance
- Chibi Furina replaces the Totem of Undying
- Fully animated totem model and textures
- Transparent background for a clean look
- Custom textures with a Furina-themed design
- No mods required — it is a pure resource pack
- Works in both first-person and third-person views
Because the pack only touches the totem's appearance, it plays nicely with other resource packs as long as they do not also modify the Totem of Undying. There are no new items, blocks, mobs, or mechanics involved, so your world stays completely vanilla-safe.
Supported Versions and Loader
Furina Totem — Chibi Edition is built for Minecraft Java Edition and installs through the standard resource pack system, so no Forge, Fabric, or NeoForge setup is needed. It is designed to work across modern Java releases, including 1.20.x and 1.21.x, and it behaves the same whether you are playing single-player or on a server. If you are running an older version and the pack does not appear correctly, updating to a recent Java release usually solves it.
If you want the smoothest possible setup, the foxygame.net launcher keeps a curated add-on catalog where Furina Totem — Chibi Edition can be enabled with a single click, and it automatically matches pack versions to the Minecraft build you are running.
How to Install Furina Totem — Chibi Edition
Getting the pack running takes less than a minute. Here is the full process:
- Download Furina Totem — Chibi Edition from the creator's page and keep the file as a .zip.
- Open Minecraft Java Edition and head to Options, then Resource Packs.
- Click Open Pack Folder to open your resourcepacks directory.
- Move the downloaded .zip file into that folder.
- Return to the game, select the pack, and click Done to enable it.
- Grab a Totem of Undying and watch chibi Furina appear in your hand.
That is the whole process. No mod loaders, no config files, no compatibility headaches. If you ever want to revert, simply disable the pack and the vanilla totem returns instantly.
Why Furina Fans Will Love It
There is something delightful about carrying a piece of Fontaine into every cave, nether fortress, and raid. The animation gives the totem real personality, and the transparent background means it looks clean in your inventory rather than boxed into an awkward frame. Whether you are building, exploring, or fighting for your life, Furina is right there with you.
It is worth noting that this is a fan-made pack and is not affiliated with HoYoverse. It is simply a love letter to both Genshin Impact and Minecraft, made for players who enjoy a bit of character flair in their survival worlds.

Furina Totem — Chibi Edition is one of those resource packs that proves how much personality a single texture swap can add.
