Enhanced SkyRecipes
If you have ever alt-tabbed out of Minecraft to check how a SkyBlock item is crafted, only to fall down a wiki rabbit hole for twenty minutes, Enhanced SkyRecipes is the add-on that ends that cycle. It is a standalone Fabric client mod that drops the entire SkyBlock item and recipe database directly into your game, displayed through Reliable Recipe Viewer (RRV). With over 8,000 items and 11 dedicated recipe categories, it turns recipe hunting into a two-second habit instead of a chore.
What Enhanced SkyRecipes Actually Does
At its core, the mod pulls data from the NotEnoughUpdates Repository, compiles it on first launch, and then keeps everything cached and refreshed quietly in the background. You never have to think about updates or manual imports. Press R over any SkyBlock item to see how it is made or obtained, and press U to see what recipes use it. The whole database lives inside Minecraft, ready the moment you need it.
For players who juggle multiple modpacks and profiles, the foxygame.net launcher makes short work of setup, since Enhanced SkyRecipes can be added from its catalog and kept current with automatic updates, so version compatibility never becomes your problem.
Eleven Recipe Types in One Viewer
Enhanced SkyRecipes registers 11 custom SkyBlock recipe categories inside RRV, covering far more than the vanilla crafting grid.
- SkyBlock Crafting — classic 3x3 grid recipes with ingredients, output counts, craft requirements, and a direct wiki reference.
- SkyBlock Forge — forge recipes with up to nine ingredient slots, craft duration such as "2h 30m", and unlock hints.
- SkyBlock Mob Drops — drop tables with exact drop chances so you know where an item really comes from.
- SkyBlock NPC Shop and NPC Info — shop costs, plus NPC cards showing island, coordinates, and a Navigate button when SkyHanni is installed.
- SkyBlock Kat Upgrade — pet upgrade inputs, materials, coin cost, timer, and resulting tier.
- SkyBlock Trade — simple one-for-one trade recipes.
- SkyBlock Wiki Info — a fallback card so every item stays reachable even without other recipe data.
- SkyBlock Essence Upgrade — essence type, cost per star, companion materials, and upgraded output.
- SkyBlock Reforge — stats granted by each reforge, applicable rarities, and a blacksmith preview.
- SkyBlock Garden Mutation — a 6x6 grid reference with surface and water requirements, spreading conditions, effects, and copper cost.
Search That Speaks SkyBlock
Autocomplete and Aliases
Type into the RRV search bar and gray ghost-text suggestions appear instantly, matching display names, internal names, aliases, and recipe page names. Hit Right Arrow or Tab to accept one. The mod also understands community shorthand, so searches like aote, hype, term, juju, gdrag, and valk all land on the right item.
Filters, Phrases, and Regex
Category toggles above the search bar narrow results to Armor, Weapons, Tools, Accessories, Pets, Enchanted Books, Minions, Equipment, or Materials, and you can type paths like %ARMOR/HELMET or %WEAPON instead. Structured queries go much further: damage>100, rarity:legendary, slayer:zombie>3, cata>=5, and flags such as dungeon, bazaar, craftable, or soulbound. Combine them freely, for example rarity:legendary damage>200 dungeon sword.
Plain keywords can match on separate lore lines, which occasionally surfaces odd results. Wrapping words in double quotes forces a contiguous phrase on one line, while slashes enable full regular expressions like /\+\d+ (speed|fortune)/ to catch stat lines such as "+30 Speed" or "+12 Fortune". Invalid or half-typed regex is simply ignored, so results never blank out mid-keystroke.
Built-In Search Calculator
The search bar doubles as a calculator. Enter 10+10 and the answer appears as ghost text, and SkyBlock suffixes work without spaces: k, m, b, t, s for stacks, e for enchanted items, and % as a postfix percentage modifier. Precision is configurable through calculatorPrecision.
Family Expansion and Configuration
Tiered items such as dungeon stars, pet tiers, minion tiers, accessory upgrades, and enchantment levels are grouped into families. With family expansion enabled, pressing R on one member shows recipes across the whole family, saving you from chasing each tier individually. Configuration opens through Mod Menu and uses MidnightLib, so every option saves live in-game, from hiding category buttons to resizing the RRV search bar and side panels.
How to Install Enhanced SkyRecipes for Minecraft
Setup is quick and only targets Fabric. Install Minecraft 1.21.1 with the Fabric Loader, then download Enhanced SkyRecipes from Modrinth and drop the jar into your mods folder. Fabric API is required, while MidnightLib ships bundled inside the jar, so there is nothing extra to grab. Install Reliable Recipe Viewer so recipes render in-game, launch the game, and let the NEU repository compile in the background on first run. Once the data is ready, press your RRV keybind, default R or U, on any SkyBlock item.
Enhanced SkyRecipes for Minecraft is one of those quality-of-life add-ons that quietly reshapes how you play. Whether you are chasing a legendary dungeon sword, planning a garden mutation layout, or just checking a forge timer, having every recipe, drop table, and upgrade path one keypress away keeps you in the game instead of in a browser tab.
