Demon Bloodline Ascension: Nether Progression Mod for Minecraft

Demon Bloodline Ascension turns Nether hunts into a full demonic progression system with bloodlines, skills, and factions for Minecraft.

Demon Bloodline Ascension

Demon Bloodline Ascension is a Nether-hunting and character-progression mod that turns ordinary mob grinding into a full demonic power fantasy. Instead of simply killing monsters for loot, you hunt Demons, absorb their essence, and eventually perform a bloodline ritual that transforms your character into an ascended being with command-based skills. If you enjoy mods that reward long-term goals and give you new abilities to master, this one deserves a spot in your loadout.

The add-on supports modern Minecraft versions and runs on the Fabric loader, so it fits neatly into most lightweight modpacks. Whether you are building a fresh survival world or adding to an existing one, the progression system is designed to scale with your playthrough.

What Demon Bloodline Ascension Adds

At its core, the mod introduces three hostile mob types that spawn naturally in the Nether: Demons, Demon Lords, and Demon Kings. None of them burn in daylight, which means they remain a threat even outside the fiery dimension. Defeating them feeds a stored Essence system that powers everything else in the mod.

  • Demons, Demon Lords, and Demon Kings — hostile mobs that drop progression materials.
  • Demonic Essence items — right-click to absorb for 8 stored Essence.
  • Five bloodlines — infernal, shadow, blood, abyssal, and doom, each with a unique starting skill.
  • Skills, factions, and hunter contracts — command-driven progression for ascended players.
  • Demon gear — craftable items granting flight, extra health, invisibility, and poison attacks.

Hunting Demons and Collecting Materials

Every Demon kill grants stored Essence: 10 from a regular Demon, 50 from a Demon Lord, and 100 from a Demon King. Drops matter just as much as the kills. A Demon has a 65% chance to drop one to three Demonic Essence items, which you can right-click to absorb for 8 stored Essence each. Demon Lords always drop a Demon Core, while regular Demons only have a 12% chance. Rare Demon Blood appears 8% of the time, and Ancient Demon Relics are guaranteed from Demon Kings.

If you want a quick test run, enable cheats and summon a Demon with the command /summon demon-bloodline-ascension-3dmh6hg2:demon. The other summon IDs are demon_lord and demon_king under the same namespace. Use /demon status at any time to check your stage, stored Essence, bloodline, faction, reputation, unlocked-skill count, and any active contract.

Ascension and Bloodline Selection

Once you carry a Demon Core, Rare Demon Blood, and an Ancient Demon Relic, and you have at least 100 stored Essence, run /demon ascend <bloodline>. The ritual consumes the materials and the Essence, turning you into a Lesser Demon with a starting skill tied to your chosen bloodline. Infernal grants fireball, shadow grants shadow_step, blood grants life_steal, abyssal grants dark_vision, and doom grants fear_aura.

For players who want a smoother setup, the foxygame.net launcher offers a one-click install for Demon Bloodline Ascension, handling loader configuration automatically so you can jump straight into the Nether.

Skills, Factions, and Contracts

Unlocking a skill costs Essence, but casting one does not. Use /demon skill <name> to unlock and /demon cast <name> to activate. Options range from cheap utilities like fireball at 12 Essence to powerful forms like inferno_form, void_form, abyssal_ascension, and doom_form at 60 each. Most casts also strike living targets in a forward cone up to 12 blocks away.

After ascending, choose an allegiance with /demon faction <name>. The choices are loyalist, rebel, neutral, and conqueror. Demon kills raise a rebel's reputation, and completing contracts shifts reputation further. Accept a contract with /demon quest to defeat five Demons for 35 Essence and a reputation reward.

Crafting Demon Gear

The Core, Rare Blood, and Relic come only from drops, but several items are craftable. Demon Claws poison targets on hit, Demon Crown has no special effect, Demon Heart adds 4 maximum health while carried, Demon Horns grant Strength to ascended players, Demon Veil toggles Invisibility, and Demon Wings grant flight when kept in your inventory.

Threshold Benefits and Strategy

Stored Essence also unlocks passive bonuses. At 25 you gain Fire Resistance, at 75 Strength and Night Vision, at 150 Regeneration, and at 250 stronger Fire Resistance. Spending Essence on skills can drop you below these thresholds, so plan carefully. Hunt in the Nether for materials, keep a reserve for passive benefits, and use contracts as a repeatable Essence source. If you ever want to walk away, /demon purify abandons your pact for 32 stored Essence and returns you to mortal status.

Learning how to install this mod is straightforward on Fabric, and once it is running, the loop of hunting, ascending, and unlocking skills keeps every Nether trip meaningful. If you are ready to download Demon Bloodline Ascension, check your loader version first, then dive in and claim your bloodline.
