Requirements and Compatibility

How to Install DeadCycle
Setting up DeadCycle is straightforward. First, ensure your server runs Paper 1.21.x on Java 21. Download both JAR files — DeadCycle and WorldGen_DC — and place them into your server's plugins folder. Restart the server completely; do not use /reload, as that can cause issues. Config and language files will generate automatically in plugins/DeadCycle/. If you use the foxygame.net launcher, you can find DeadCycle in the add-on catalog and install it with a single click, which also handles version compatibility and auto-updates for you. After installation, use the admin commands to assign worlds and set up the lobby.
Admin Setup
Once the plugins are loaded, you need to configure your worlds. Use /dc world set <world> <lobby|wait|game|waitup> to assign each world its role, and link a wait world to its game world. Place holographic leaderboards by looking at a block and running /dc top set <category>. Set an Upgrade Altar with /dc altar set, and bind case blocks using /dc case .... Most setup is point-and-click on blocks plus a few subcommands. Start a match from a waiting world with /start. Run /dc in-game for the full tab-completed list of admin commands.
Player Commands
Players have access to a range of commands to navigate the mode: /kit to select or view kits, /shop for in-match purchases, /money to check balance, /base to manage defenses, /repair to fix walls, /lobby to return to the lobby, /quests and /achievements to track progress, /duels <player> to challenge someone to a 1v1, and /onlyup to jump into the tower survival mode.
