cross-dim/infinite range RS boost card
If you have spent any serious time with Refined Storage in Minecraft 1.12.2, you know the frustration of hitting the wireless transmitter's range limit. You build a massive base, scatter machines across the map, and then realize your handheld terminal simply cannot reach the storage system from the other side of your quarry. The cross-dim/infinite range RS boost card changes everything. This add-on removes those boundaries entirely, giving you unrestricted access to your Refined Storage network no matter where you are in the world. What Does the cross-dim/infinite range RS boost card Do?
In vanilla Refined Storage, the Wireless Transmitter has a hard limit on how far away you can be while still accessing your network. You also cannot use it across dimensions. The cross-dim/infinite range RS boost card solves both problems with a single, elegant item. Once installed, your wireless terminal works from any distance, and it also functions when you are in the Nether, the End, or any modded dimension you have added to your game.Key Features at a Glance
- Removes the range cap on your Wireless Transmitter completely.
- Enables cross-dimension access to your Refined Storage network.
- Works alongside chunk loading, so your network stays active even when you are far away.
- Compatible with both the Infinity Card and the Dimension Card, which can be used together.
Requirements and Compatibility
Before you download cross-dim/infinite range RS boost card, make sure your setup meets the requirements. This add-on is built specifically for Minecraft 1.12.2 and requires Forge 14.23.5.2768 or newer. You also need the Refined Storage mod installed as a dependency. The add-on does not replace any existing Refined Storage features; it simply extends the functionality of your Wireless Transmitter.Supported Loaders and Versions
This is a Forge-only add-on. It will not work with Fabric or other loaders. The target version is strictly Minecraft 1.12.2, so if you are playing on a newer version, you will need to look for alternative solutions. The add-on is lightweight and does not conflict with most other Refined Storage add-ons, making it a safe addition to your modpack.

Using the Cards in Game
Once the add-on is installed, you need to craft the appropriate cards. The Infinity Card removes the range limit, while the Dimension Card allows cross-dimension access. The best part is that you can install both cards simultaneously. This combination gives you infinite range and cross-dimension access at the same time, which is the ultimate setup for any serious Refined Storage user.Step-by-Step Usage
- Craft an Infinity Card or a Dimension Card using the Refined Storage crafting grid.
- Open your Wireless Transmitter GUI by right-clicking on it.
- Place the card into an upgrade slot within the GUI.
- Close the GUI and test your wireless terminal from a distant location.
That is all there is to it. As far as I know, there is no other Refined Storage infinite card for 1.12.2 that also crosses dimensions, so this add-on fills a unique gap. The chunk loading is included, which means your network keeps processing even when you are not nearby. This is particularly useful for automated farms or processing lines that run while you explore.
